I've been wondering a lot on Mew's IG post yesterday

The months I have known him, I have never seen him post something like that. The closetest to that would be him sending his thank yous to Gulf whenever Gulf gave him flowers or gifts.

The thing about #MewGulf right now is that the media are now getting more and more interested in their relationship. The media are relentless trying to get that confirmation from them.

And perhaps that is why as the months go by, we get less and less interactions of them in social media because we all know the media will use that to ask them in interviews and scrutinize them with it.

But what happened yesterday was extremely unexpected and shocking to us all.

The reason is because his post was not just his typical post like previously. Yes, he was conveying his congratulations to Gulf but it's the simple yet impactful sentence that's different.

The fact that we know how lowkey mewgulf were these past few months and to see Mew suddenly made that proclamation publicly is just so shocking and I am confident he knows the effect of that post to the media and journalists.

Why I said it was a public proclamation because he never once post anything that come close to saying Gulf is his but he finally did it yesterday.

"To my sunflower"

He's telling the world that Gulf is his in the most subtle yet obvious way.

These are what my views on this entire thing. Because I'm sure I'm not the only one that find this very shocking and unexpected. I feel like I'm still processing the entire thing.

To me it was a sweet gesture and I am happy to see Gulf was happy to receive it

It may look like a simple gesture to anyone, but he's the happiest to receive it and bring it along everywhere with him yesterday and that's what truly matters.
