I love the people in my TL valiantly still trying to score this on the points being made. That's not how this debate is registering with people.

People asking me how I think this registers. Genuinely don't know. I think Trump is having the type of debate he wants to have, but Biden is handling it much better than he expected. It appalls me, but I've internalized that Trump's appeals are 100% not pitched at me.

Like I didn't get Trump stalking the stage like an animal against Hillary, but if you look at the polls, that was one of his better received debates. FWIW I *think* Biden not collapsing in this situation was all he needed to do. But again, Trump probably wasn't pitching me here.
