everyone in my mentions talking about the downsides of socialism in countries in latin/south america are failing to acknowledge the violence implemented by western democracies on their lands.

the “demise” of the countries y’all are bringing up as examples are also prime examples of western exploitation. democratic governments have targeted these countries specifically to keep them subjugated & use the name of socialism as a disguise.

autocracy in the name of the well being of the state isn’t communism. militarized control of the state isn’t communism. these are examples of dictator regimes used to pursue their own agendas instead of the prosperity of the people it serves.
