1. spend some time thinking about what you believe is right & good
2. commit to it for 50 years, focus hard on it. it’s ok to get distracted but keep it in view on the horizon always

i don’t wanna get too prescriptive but if you’re really desperate for ideas: pick an injustice from your childhood and seek to rectify it

when you play longer games, you attract other players who are in it for the long haul. you trust each other more. on a 50 year scale, it doesn’t matter what companies people are working at, etc. what matters is long-term alignment. you waste less time fighting abt trivial things
on a 50 year scale, it does certainly feel like all of your competitors are your collaborators, or potential collaborators. it does to me, anyway. this gives me a sense of lightness and abundance which makes people like me more, which means even more collaborators
Meta: this thread is a throwaway set of thoughts I had while having breakfast, but it’s going to go into my notes, into my ebooks, etc - and it’s easy to see/ and do, because talking about long games is part of my long game. You see how it all adds up and compounds
