Where Yoongi always eats alone while standing at any corner of the room facing the wall when one of his boss saw him and asked him why he's doing that.

"It helps me digest my food better." Ha says.

Well, he hopes that's indeed the reason why.
First, I wanna say that just grabbed those pictures in fb and pinterest. So if ever the owner is here. I give full credits. Please don not reply on this thread. My first time doing this so please bear with me. We'll start... Love y'all💜
Yoongi dreaded this time of the day when he's in the office. Most of his co-workers always gets excited when the clock hits twelve announcing lunch time, but he always finds it dreadful.

He has nothing against eating. He eats well, he love food.
After hours of working his ass off with nothing but a coffee before he left his apartment for work, eating lunch is something that he also looks forward amidst the busy and bustling office day.

He loves eating. He really does.
It's eating in an open space such as their office cafeteria that he dreaded to do the most. And it's not because he doesn't like the food there-- though he packs his lunch every day, its actually the fact that he will be in the midst of people he
doesn't particularly know very well.

But again, he doesn't have anything against anyone.

And by saying that, he will walk in there, eat his pack lunch, and will actually enjoy it.

Yes, that's what he will do.
Maybe he will also sit down with his co-workers who always ask him to join them in lunch and actually make a conversation with them while doing so.

He will smile at them and he's sure that they will make him comfortable. No biggy.
He's an adult with great socializing skills and so he will get through this lunchtime as normal as everyone else will.

Maybe this time, it isn't so bad. Maybe this time, he will----

"YOONGI!"

He almost bolted out of the room when he heard Jimin shouts his name.
The sweet intern waved at him as he was getting his lunch tray full of food. Taehyung, another intern, waved at him as he followed Jimin who is walking towards him.

He unconsciously bit his lips and fidgeted with his lunch box as he met the pretty boy halfway.
"Hey," he greeted. And he swears, he doesn't mean to sound so awkward. He also tries his best not to actually run away from the crowded cafeteria and follow Jimin and Taehyung untik they find a vacant table.

"It's nice to finally see you join us in lunch, Yoongi-hyung."
Taehyung cheerfully told him as they took their respective seats. And that means Jimin and Taehyung sitting down beside each other while he take the seat across from them.

"Yeah hyung," Jimin added. "I think it's a good thing that the security and maintenance team ban anyone
from eating in the production floor, at least we finay got you here now."

Ah, yes. That too.

He can't find himself agreeing with Jimin. He was pissed that that happened. He can no longer eat on his table now like he used to. He has to go all the way down to the
cafeteria to have lunch now. He really wants to talk with whoever asshole who thinks that it is a wise idea to forbid them --him-- from eating on their production floor where they have their own cubicles to mind their own damn business.

He will find sometime later to know who
is behind that ridiculous idea and give him a piece of his mind.

He watched Jimin and Taehying devour their food as if they were starved for days. Maybe they were, he knows how tiring it is to be an intern in this company.
He stared at them while internally prepping himself to open his lunchbox and start eating. He felt his stomach turn and he can't help the thoughts that kept on plaguing his head.

What if someone is silently staring at him and judging him?
What if someone suddenly someone comes to him and tells him he doesn't belong there? What if Jimin and Taehyung suddenly tells him that he wasn't supposed to be eating with them because he's disgusting and ----

"Hyung,"

And they thought that he doesn't belong there...
What if they will suddenly throw his lunch because they find it weird for him to pack his lunch at that age?

What if---

"YOONGI-HYUNG!"

He looked up with sudden tears in his eyes and saw Jimin and Taehyung looking at him. Worry is evident in their eyes,
but what if they are not really worried about him? What if he is just interpreting their emotions in the wrong way?

"Yoongi-hyung, are you okay? I---"

He cannot take it anymore and he knows that he shouldn't leave and swat Taehyung's hand, but he did and now he's even more
ashamed of himself when Taehyung cradles his hand as he gasps in pain.

Tears sprung on his eyes as he immediately gathered his things and practically bolted his way out of the room. He wanted to say sorry to both Jimin and Taehyung, but he cannot speak at the moment.
He can't even breathe. To be honest, he isn't sure if he's still breathing as he ran his way out of that crowded cafeteria.

He has to hide. Fast.

And that is when he found himself in the man's restroom, almost bumping to someone before actually running to the closest and
available cubicle where he hunched over the toilet bowl retching out his guts until he has nothing left but bile.

Maybe it's best if he will continue being alone during lunch.
**** I may have posted this in Ao3 as well. Idk. Im not that confident but I love to write so... Yea... Im gonna do my thing and hope for the best...
Yoongi tried his best to adapt to his current situation. He really did. First, he went to Taehyung and Jimin to say he's sorry for what happened and the sweet duo immediately forgave him and told him that he can still join them for lunch anytime.
And of course, him being himself didn't dare to join them on lunch. He even didn't dare to step foot in that cafeteria again.

So he tried his best and he decided to just go home every lunch break so he can eat, but the thing is, his home is 20 minutes away from their office,
Which of course resulted in him getting over lunch 3 days in a row until his supervisor says enough is enough and if he ever gets over lunch again, he will be signing papers as a disciplinary action.

So he found another way to spend his lunch, and this time he went to the
the rooftop of their office only to get caught by their security team and reporting him to, again, his supervisor as only authorized personnel are allowed in the rooftop, and he is, unfortunately, not one of those authorized persons.
So he resorted to his last idea which is to eat at the restroom cubicles. He knows that sounds so gross and weird to a normal person, but it wasn't like the first time he did it in his life.

He was able to do just that for about a week until one of the cleaning personnel caught
him and he was, again, reported to his supervisor. And of course, his supervisor got really mad for the repeated "offense" and told him to get his shits together or he will be fired.

He was fuming.

How dare them to fire him for something like that when what he is doing is not
something illegal. He is not even breaking any company policies by eating at the restroom. It is his preference. People should get started into respecting individual preferences.

He wanted to tell his supervisor to fuck off, but of course, he didn't because he needs the job and
the paycheck.

Which now leads him back to the cafeteria's back corner, facing the wall as he devoured his food as quickly as he can.

Jimin and Taehyung actually tried to get him to sit with them, but he refused. They asked why, and he told them that he is comfortable eating
Alone while standing and facing the wall. The two didn't look convinced, but they let him be and didn't try to pry or question him further. They actually pulled a table and chair beside him to accompany him.

Jimin and Taehyung then proceeded to eat their lunch on the table
normally as if it doesn't bother them that he is standing beside their table facing the wall.

And he appreciates them. The young duo obviously knows that he is uncomfortable, but they never pushed him into doing something that he doesn't want to do. Instead, they let him be
go out of their way to still accompany him when they can just go ahead their day without actually minding him.

And they fell on the routine. Taehyung even stood up for him when one of their supervisors approached him and called him a freak.
Jimin even gets into an argument when one of their co-workers also stood beside him and tried to interrogate him. He left the room as soon as he gets the last bite of his sandwich in his mouth. He says a quick thanks to Jimin and Taehyung who just waved and smiled at him as if
nothing happened.

And he thought, maybe someday, he will be able to join the two on their table and enjoy their company for real.
*** I really appreciate anyone who reads it here or in Ao3. Like that really means a lot. I am not asking for anything, all I want is for you to enjoy this and I hope you do😊💜***
"And I don't know why he keeps doing that, but Jimin and I decided to keep him company either way. He's nice, y'know. And he is super cute too. He works hard more than anyone else in your company, so you should really get down there and meet him, hyung." Taehyung continued
as he munched on the food he ordered.

Hoseok has been listening to Taehyung rant about this certain employee of his who Tae and Jimin found friendly and sweet while they ork as an intern in his and Namjoon's software company.

"I will, one of these days." He agreed mindlessly
as he continued to read at the document his secretary gave him this morning.

"Great! I actually left Jiminie there to accompany him for the mean time while I ensure you and Joon-hyung is also eating on time." Tae stood from his seat and soon enough the documents on his hands
were gone as Taehyung placed a bento box that he ordered when Taehyung called him earlier this morning demanding that he will go in his office and they will have lunch together.

Taehyung also promised to tell him about this new friend of his and asked him his opinion
about his employee's behavior. He honestly feels like Joon is better at this kind of thing so he doesn't understans why Taehyung kept on coming to him instead to rant about this 'Yoongi' guy.

But he adores Taehyung so much and he will listen to him any time no matter how busy
he gets. So he sighed and finally took his food from Taehyung as the younger boy placed his own food on the table and he pulled a chair across the room to sit in front of him.

"You really have to see him, hyung." Tae insisted. "Jimin thinks that he is perfect for you."
Ah, there it goes.

Now he understands why Tae kept on coming to him about this guy. Jimin and Tae definitely have an ulterior motive and that is to match him with this 'Yoongi' guy. He should have known better and maybe he has to tell Jimin and Tae to stop as early as now.
He sighed, "Tae, if you and Jimin is only doing this to get me date this guy, I won't do it." He stated firmly.

Tae honestly looked like he was entirely confused by his statement. "We are not trying to get you into dating him, though. Why would you think that, hyung?"
Hoseok truly adores Taehyung, but there are times like this that he just wants to pinch the younger for acting innocent.

"You just literally told me that Jiminie thinks that this Yoongi-guy is perfect for me." He reminded Tae his statements a moment ago.
Tae has the nerve to roll his eyes as if what he just stated was actually something obvious that he should understand, but he didn't and that makes him stupid.

"Well, yeah, but not like perfect for you as a boyfriend."
Tae stressed the "boyfriend" part. "We just thought that you will compliment him so well and maybe make him comfortable."

"Why? What makes you think that I can do that?" Hoseok asked since he isn't really sure why Tae thought that he can make someone feel comfortable when he
barely know him.

Tae smiled at him so fondly, "Remember when we are still at the university and we met Kookie who is so awakward and shy, he told us later that he felt comfortable the most with you. Jimin also says that he missed being roommates with you
because he gets to talk with you about anything." Tae reached out and lightly tapped his cheek. "You are good with people, hyung. You just have this aura on you that makes people trust you and be friends with you."
"So, you think that this Yoongi and I can be friends and will be perfect as one?"

"Yes!" Tae agreed immediately. "And if ever you end up dating, that's absolutely okay too."

Hoseok sighed once again as he smiled at Tae, "I highly doubt we'll end up dating."
"Wanna bet?" Tae challenged him with mischief shinning on his eyes.

"I don't do bets."

"Well, I do, so let's bet on that."

"No, Tae. It isn't right to bet on people's feelings." Hoseok countered kindly. "That's cruel."
"Then you shouldn't be quick to judge about whether you two will end up dating or not." Tae pouted, "I am telling you, Yoongi-hyung is lovable and I bet that you're the one who will fall inlove with him first. Mark my words, hyung."

Hoseok just smiled at him.
"We'll see about that, Tae."

"Bet?"

"No."

"Fine. Will you meet him tomorrow?"
Hoseok thought about it. He is now curious about this guy Tae has been telling him about. Now he wants to know why Tae and Jimin seems to be so enarmored of him despite his odd behavior.

"I am not sure, Tae." he answered. "I have a lunch meeting tomorrow so i can't.
Maybe I'll just surprise you and Jimin one of these days." He got up from his seat to take his trash on the trash bin near the door. "Tell your friend I am so sorry about the situation with the security and maintenance team. We just cannot really afford another incident
where rats were found in the production floor. You know how important the files stored there. Be it software or hardware. I hope he understands."

He truly felt sorry about his orders, but it has to be done. Maybe he'll apologize to Yoongi personally once he get to meet him.
Maybe he'll just dismissed the incident reports related with Tae's friend. That's the least he can do when the guy seems to be really uncomfortable eating lunch in a crowd.

"You can tell him that yourself when you meet him." Tae gathered his trash as well and picked up the
food they ordered. The younger said that he will take those to Jungkook and Jiminie.

"Okay, say hi to Jiminie and Kookie for me." He advised as Tae gets out of his office.

He took a deep breath when silence finally echoed in his office after Tae left him.
He momentarily stared at the documents sitting on his wide desk. He has a long day to go. Maybe he will invite his friends for a movie night on the weekend and if he get to finally talk with Yoongi before that, he will invite him as well.

"You can't continue being like that, Yoongles."

Yoongi slurped his ramen heartily as he listens to Jin's whining. He also devoured the side dishes that Jin immediately prepared the moment he told him that he didn't take his lunch at the office because some bastards actually hide
his lunch box. When he went to find it, it was in a trash bin in the cafeteria and he knows that he shouldn't let some of his co-workers do that to him because that is practically bullying and they're not in high school or some cliché college situation anymore,
but he was just tired, hungry and he knows from experience that the more he engaged himself with that kind of people, the more that the situation will get worst. He'll let them do whatever they want because eventually, they will stop.

They always do.
He just hopes that the effect those actions caused him will stop, too.

"You have to stand up for yourself, you know that right?" Jin continued as the older watched him savor the food. "I know that it gets tiring for you and you feel like it won't make any difference, but it does
Yoongs. If you stand up for yourself and actually tell them to fuck off, they will stop."

He placed the bowl down after he finished drinking the soup. "Do you still have more?" He asked as he wiped his chin.

Jin sighed and went to the kitchen to get more food for him.
He isn't hungry anymore, but he needs to distract Jin for a moment while he prepares himself for the long lecture he will receive from his Hyung.

He met Seokjin when he was in his first year of college. Jin saw him crying in the middle of the cafeteria with his food thrown over
him by his old classmate in high school. His tray was thrown across the room as the cafeteria lady shouts at him for causing trouble when all he did was quietly sit on one of the tables available and suddenly a group of guys claimed that it's theirs.
The moment Jin handed him that handkerchief and held his hand to help him stand, Jin never let him go again.

8 years after that, Jin became the constant in his life. Always willing to listen and comfort him. Always there to protect and care for him.
Jin once said that he wishes that he can mend his scars for him. He said, "Scars can't be mended any more, they are here to stay, but thanks for trying."

But Jin still tries and sometimes it makes him feel better that someone somehow understands, but there are times that he
wishes Jin knew nothing instead. Sometimes he felt so bare and suffocated because Jin knows too much about him and he cares for him too much that he felt he didn't deserve such kindness.

Sometimes he just really want to be brave for himself and actually fight for what is right,
but the last time he did that, he got ripped apart so brutally that he can still feel that fear in his heart until now.

Staying quiet felt like a much better option.
"I swear to all saints in this damn world that if you came here again with the same reason as to why you starved yourself, I am going to your office and force you to tell me who those bastards are and will rip them apart meat by meat. You know I can take down a whole cow, right?"
Jin ranted as he placed a bowl of ramen in front of him. "It won't be hard for me to actually butcher them."

He smiled at Jin as he took his spoon again. "I know, hyung."
Jin sighed as he reached out a hand and swept his hair aside. "You deserve everything good in this world, Yoongi-ah."

And Yoongi almost wanted to weep with how soft Jin says that. With how his eyes show adoration, kindness, and understanding. With how he smiled at Yoongi so
softly as if he's saying that it's okay to be brave for himself once again.

He looked away and stopped Jin's hand from caressing his cheek. Yoongi can't afford to cry now. Not in Jin's coffee shop with few customers left since it's almost time for the shop to close.
"Can I just take this home, Hyung?" He asked without looking at the older man in front of him. "I am kinda full now so I'll just take this home to eat later."

"Of course," Jin answered. A faint smile gracing his kissable lips as he picked up the food and went back to the kitchen
Yoongi knows that Jin wanted to say more to him, but he also knows that Jin knows its time for him to stop. For now. And he's grateful for that.

He waited until Jin got back with a plastic bag full of food. He can see that Jin added a couple of bread and pastries in there,
but he decided not to point it out.

"Are you leaving now?" Jin asked as he handed the bag to him.

"Yes, hyung. It's already late. You also have to close the shop." He answered as he smiles at Jin gently. "Thank you so much for the food, hyung."
"Anytime, Yoongles." Jin then gathered him in a tight hug. "You're still meeting Nayeonie, right?"

"Yes, hyung."

"I'll come with you one of these days, okay?"

"Okay, hyung."

"I love you, Yoongi-ah," Jin then released him from his tight hug. "You know that, right?"
He nodded because he knows that if he dared to speak, he might burst into tears. When Jin nodded back, he raised his hand as he left the shop. He took one last look at Jin through the glass window once he's out on the streets and he can see Jin watching him.
Jin waved at him and mouthed something to him as he walks away.

"Be brave," Jin says.

Only if he can.
*** Okay, I am actually on shift at work rn and I have to go real quick. I will be right back, I promise!!!***
So, Hoseok was told by his sister to not get home unless he will bring her favorite coffee and bread from his favorite coffee shop. That is why he found himself in a coffee shop near his sister's office to get the coffee and bread she wanted because how can he deny a pregnant
woman her cravings?

He also loves his sister so much, which is a given fact.

And he was supposed to leave the shop 10 minutes ago, when he heard someone saying, "How dare they do this to you, Yoongi?!"
He knows that it is wrong to eavesdrop or listen to someone else's conversation, but he cannot help it. The moment he heard the name being mentioned, he knows that he has to stay because... Well, he really doesn't know why he has to stay, but he wants to confirm whether this
'Yoongi' is the same 'Yoongi' that Tae and Jimin have been telling him about for the last few weeks. And yes, he knows that there are a lot of Yoongi in South Korea, but Tae and Jimin also sent him a picture of Yoongi because according to them, he must know who he is missing for
continuously avoiding to meet the guy they have been telling him about. He has been telling the duo that, it's not his fault that he has to attend a two-week convention after he told Tae that he will meet this Yoongi-guy in the next 'few days'.
And turned to get a good look at the table where the voice is coming from and he can see two guys 3 tables away from his. He can only see the side profile of the guy who seemed to be so invested in eating his food but he can already tell that it is the same Yoongi that Tae and
Jimin have been bombarding him about.

He immediately looked away when the Yoongi-guy turned in his direction and frowned. He didn't saw him looking and staring at them, right?

He doesn't dare to look again and instead adjusted the seat so he is now facing the glass wall where
he can vaguely see their reflection. He picked up the drink he ordered for his sister because he knows that if he will stay there to eavesdrop and observe Yoongi like a creep, he has to buy and order a new one later. He doesn't want his sister to murder him if he went home with a
soiled drink.

"Hyung, can you lower your voice, please? Others might hear you." Yoongi softly pleaded with the other guy sitting across from him. The guy seemed to calm down a bit and just gave Yoongi a frustrated look.

"You can't continue being like that, Yoongles."
The guy muttered. Yoongi didn't answer this time. "You have to stand up for yourself, you know that right? I know that it gets tiring for you and you feel like it won't make any difference, but it does, Yoongs. If you stand up for yourself and actually tell them to fuck off,
they will stop."

He didn't hear what Yoongi said in response to that but he saw him handed the guy something and the guy left their table. Yoongi only bowed his head as he waits for the other guy to return and ever with him looking at Yoongi through his reflection by the glass
window, he can see how resigned he looked.

And Hoseok can't help but think why. Why does Yoongi look so sad and tired? What makes him feel that way? Is something or someone bothering him? Who and why? He heard the other guy tell him that he has to stand for himself, is he being
bullied or harassed? Where? In their office? Jimin once told him that Yoongi says that after he works, he always goes home right after. So basically, his life is home to office and office to home. Is he being harassed on his way home?
Hoseok has so many questions and he wanted to go to Yoongi now and demand answers, but he also knows that that is something he isn't allowed to do yet. At least not now. Yoongi doesn't know him yet.

He turned to Yoongi again and he saw that the same guy is now back on the table.
"I swear to all saints in this damn world that if you came here again with the same reason as to why you starved yourself, I am going to your office and force you to tell me who those bastards are and I will rip them apart meat by meat.
You know I can take down a whole cow, right? It won't be hard for me to actually butcher them."

Hoseok frowned at this. So something bad happened with Yoongi at the office. Why Jimin and Tae didn't tell him about this? He pulled out his phone ready to call Jimin when he saw the
guy reached out a hand and softly brushed Yoongi's fringe.

"You deserve everything good in this world, Yoongi-ah." The guy says so softly he can see how Yoongi tried his best to hold back his tears.

Who is this guy?

Why is he making Yoongi cry with those words alone?
He saw the guy stand up again and leave Yoongi behind. He saw how Yoongi tried his best to hold back his tears as he gets lost with his own thoughts. How he makes himself look tiny as if he is afraid that he might be disturbing anyone with his presence alone.
And most of all, Yoongi looked broken and defeated.

Hoseok could feel that strong urge to stand up and wrap Yoongi in his arms. He could feel that urge to protect him and make him feel better. He wanted to just go there and tell him that whatever is hurting him, he can share it
with him. He wanted to tell him that everything will be okay, that he will do his best to make it better for him.

And that is something really unusual with the fact that he doesn't know this man at all.

He needs to get a grip on himself. So he sighed and just closed his fist as
he fights the urge to comfort someone he barely knows. Gosh, the man didn't even know him at all.

He watched Yoongi leave the coffee shop and listen to the guy say, "Be brave, Yoongi-ah."

Yoongi seriously thought of not going to work today because he has a terrible headache. But he has bills to pay and necessities to provide for himself, so he cannot afford to be absent at work. He knows that Seokjin won't hesitate into adopting him incase he got fired,
but you know, he can't afford to be depressed and jobless at the same time.

So, he drank two mugs of coffee and went to work as if he hasn't been crying all night long.

And he hates the fact that he cried over something that he cannot control.
But that's actually he was trying to make himself believe. That everything that happened or is happening with his life is something he cannot control when in fact, he has full control over everything and he just chooses not to actually have a grasp with it.
"You have to forgive yourself, Yoongi." He remembers Nayeon saying. "You've been hurting for far too long now. Don't you think that it's time to actually forgive yourself and make peace with your demons?"

He wishes that it's just that easy to actually make peace with himself.
To juts forgive, forget, and move on.

Yoongi let out a soft sigh as he steps out of the elevator and marched to get on his cubicle, but before he can even take his seat, he saw a bunch of flowers sitting on his table. He can't help the frown that immediately flashes on his face,
as a cold hand seemed to suddenly squeeze his heart.

Daffodils and Sunflowers.

Yoongi can feel his heart beat faster and shallow breaths come out of his mouth. He tugged his necktie and stepped away from his table. He looked around for anyone who will give him an idea as to
who left it there, but he saw his coworkers worked on their own and no one is paying him attention.

He took a panicked breathe as he shouted, "WHO LEFT THESE FLOWERS ON MY DESK?!"

Everyone in their office who heard him turned to him and on a normal occasion, he would feel
conscious with those stares. But not now. Not when those flowers are sitting on his desk and he felt like he will go into a panic attack right at that moment.

"Please," he begged as he tried to stop a sob from escaping his throat. "Please, take it away from. I can deal with you
bullying me, but this is too much. So please," He could feel tears fall from his eyes as he frantically took a step away from his desk and ran away from that place.

He heard Jimin calling out to him, but he didn't dare to look back at him. He just ran until he reached the
restroom. He immediately goes to one of the available cubicles and locked himself.

Daffodils and Sunflowers.

He cannot help the tears that escaped his eyes and he can hear his heart break even more.

Jimin is panicking as he rushed inside the pantry where Taehyung is currently making a coffee that their supervisors asked from him.

"TAE, OH MY GOD TAE!" He screamed. "Yoongihyungsawtheflowerandheiscryingandheleftthebuildingidontknowwheretofindhim!"
Taehyung took a deep breath as he held him on his shoulders. "Okay Jimin, you have to calm the fuck down and breathe."

"I CAN'T!"

"WELL, YOU HAVE TO BECAUSE I CAN'T FUCKING UNDERSTAND YOU! WHAT HAPPENED?"

Jimin stared at Taehyung, "Did you just shout at me?"
"Uh,no?" Taehyung held his hand and kissed his knuckles while flashing him a hesitant smile. "Sorry, you were freaking out and I cannot understand you. You mentioned something about Yoongi-hyung?"

Oh, right! He will deal with Taehyung shouting at him later. Their priority is to
find Yoongi.

"Oh yeah, " he exclaimed as the worry came back to him in full force. "Yoongi-hyung saw the flowers on his table and he cried and shouted who left those in his desk. After that, he left the building and I don't know where to find him!"
"Okay, calm down. We will find him, okay?" Taehyung then guided him out of the pantry on their floor. "Who left the flower on his desk?"

"Me," Jimin confessed as he hunched his shoulders in shame. He did that to Yoongi. He is really worried. What if his Yoongles is not okay?
He looked so hurt and in full-blown panic. He can still see that fear and heartbreak in his cat-like eyes. How he rushed out of their floor in a hurry. "Hobi-hyung called last night," He started as both him and Taehyung get to the elevator.
"Hey, Taehyung! Where's the coffee I asked--"

"Go get it yourself, bastard!" Taehyung shouted at one of their supervisors before the elevator closed. Taehyung then turned to him and gathered him in a soft hug. Large comforting hands drawing soothing circles on his back.
He leaned against his friend as he continued his story.

"So, yeah, Hobi-hyung called me last night and asked me to leave flowers on Yoongi-hyung desk. He doesn't really specify the reason why and I didn't probe more, but he says he just wanted to make a good impression with
Yoongi-hyung first before he officially met him and I find that so sweet and cute, so I agreed." He sighed as he nuzzles his head against Taehyung's wide chest. "I thought Yoongi-hyung will also like it, but I guess he's not so happy about it."
"It's not your fault," Taehyung stated as he guided both of them out of the elevator.

"But, I was the one who put the flower there."

"Yeah, but it's not your idea and that is why we will talk with Hobi-hyung." Taehyung bowed to the Hobi's assistant. "Is Hobi-hyung inside?"
"Yes," the assistant answered kindly. "But Mr. Kim is also inside. They are discussing something. Let me ask if I can let you in. Hold on a second, please."

Jimin and Taehyung nodded as they waited for the assistant's confirmation that they can go in. Once the assistant gave
them the go signal, both of them immediately hurried their hyung's office.

"Jiminie, Tae," Namjoon greeted them with that dimpled simile they loved so much, but that can't calm them down at the moment.

"Hey," Hoseok greeted. "What brought you two here?"
Jimin finally lifts up his head from Taehyung's shoulder and with teary eyes, he faced the older.
"Yoongi hates the flowers and now he is somewhere crying." He stated as he watched Hobi's sunshine smile fade and frown and worry etched his handsome face. "We don't know where he is."

*****************************************************************************
Hoseok doesn't know what happened. At one moment he was in their office talking with Namjoon about this next meeting grand benefit ball that they have to attend in Daegu next month and now he is inside his car parked in front of his coffee shop.
But this time, he doesn't have any plans to go inside and order. The coffee shop is still closed anyway, but he can see two people inside. The taller male hugging a sobbing short and pale male.

Hoseok knows that he shouldn't be there. He should be staring at the couple.
He shouldn't even be wishing that he is the one whos holding and comforting that short male.

Hoseok knows that the man doesn't know him and hell, he might be the one who caused the man's breakdown.

He doesn't even know how he managed to find Yoongi.

Ah, Yoongi.
Yoongi didn't know him and yet he cried. Yoongi doesn't know Hoseok and yet, Hoseok cared for him so much to leave his work behind and find him. Yoongi who Hoseok can't help but watch as if he is trying to remember every detail of him. Yoongi who, for an unknown reason,
Hoseok wanted to comfort and hold in his arms.

Yoongi doesn't know Hoseok and Hoseok only knows him because of Taehyung and Jimin's stories, but he managed to make Hoseok worry. Yoongi even managed to make him feel guilty. And as Hoseok watched Yoongi cry for the second time,
he wished he knows how to make him stop crying. Hoseok even found himself wishing that he knows how to make Yoongi smile.

How would Yoongi look like when smiling?
It's funny. Hoseok thinks it's funny how some stranger could make him feel this way and yet Hoseok also finds the situation twisted and uncanny. He should ask Namjoon about what he is feeling. His friend definitely knows what's happening to him.
He picked up his phone and dialed Namjoon's number.

"What do you call it when you wish to comfort someone you didn't even know? Was it pity?" Hoseok asked the moment Namjoon answered his call. "Or was it something entirely different?"

"Hoseok---"
"He's a stranger to me, Joon." He interrupted. "So why am I feeling this way? Like I wanted to stop him from crying and yet I also want him to cry his heart out until he feels better, but I want him to do it while he's in my arms. Is this normal?"
"Yes," Namjoon answered. "For someone who is in love."

Hoseok chuckled quietly, "He's a stranger, Joon."

"Well, Hoseok" Namjoon sighed. "You might want to do something to change that."

PS: I still can't move on with the concert yesterday TT***
It has been a week since that incident where he ran out of their office and so far, everyone in their office says nothing about it. Even the co-workers who have been bugging him off seems to stop now. At lunch, no one bothers him anymore and so he can finally eat in peace.
He doesn't know what happened after he ran out of their office and cried in Seokjin's arms, all he knows is Jimin calling him and apologizing to him for what happened after Jimin confessed that he is the one who put the flowers on his desk. When he gets back to the office,
Jimin came running to him on the verged of tears as the younger swears it won't happen again. Yoongi forgives Jimin, after all the younger didn't mean to upset him. The younger also doesn't know why he broke down upon seeing those flowers.
Later that night, Jimin and Taehyung offered to bring him home using their car. He lets them because he was tired, both from crying and from his work. Yoongi let Jimin and Tae stay for the night at his house and he woke up in at dawn with the two younger men cuddling him.
Yoongi should feel awkward, but he lets them stay and he savored the warmth. When was the last time he lets someone cuddle him to sleep?

He couldn't remember. He doesn't let anyone come too close to him because he likes being alone. He likes his space and he likes the comfort of
knowing that someone else close to him won't cause him any harm anymore.

"Yoongi-hyung," Jimin nudge his side as the duo set down their trays on the table. "Our Hobi-hyung will be joining us today for lunch. I hope it's okay with you."
He just nodded and takes out his own lunch. He started unwrapping the Kimbap he made for himself this morning as he stood up and face the wall. "It's fine, Jimin-ah. As long as he won't ask me why I am doing this."

"Uh," Tae then gave him an unsure smile. "We actually---"
"Hello to my two favorite people in this world."

The trio both turned to the booming and cheerful voice that called Tae and Jimin. Yoongi realized that he isn't the one this stranger just called so he turned to the wall again and started eating.
"Hobi-hyung!" Tae and Jimin excitedly greeted the stranger.

Yoongi tried his best not to listen, but he cannot block the excited squeals from his friend because of the stranger's arrival. He tried his best to finish his food as quickly as possible. He knows that this stranger
will soon ask him as to why---

"Hi Yoongi,"

Yoongi can't help the gasp that escapes him when the stranger greeted him. With wides eyes, he looked at his side where the stranger is now standing and looking at him softly with a little smile on his face.
"Y-you know m-me?" Yoongi stuttered. How come this stranger knows him? He is sure that this is the first time he saw him. But as he looked at this stranger's face more closely, he looks familiar. Yoongi just cannot tell where he ha saw him.
"Of course, I know you. Tae and Jimin have told me so many things about you. Aside from the fact that I own this company and--"

"You're Jung Hoseok?!" He exclaimed in disbelief. He saw how Jung Hoseok winced at him. He immediately lowers his head in shame.
He didn't mean to shout. "I-I ahm, s-sorry I didn't mean to shout at you."

Hoseok smiled at him and with a comforting hand, the guy held his arm. "Nah, it's fine. You can call me Hobi, by the way. I heard you are older than me." Hoseok then took his lunch box from his hand.
"If you don't mind me asking though, what are you doing?"

Yoongi tried to take his lunch box back, but instead, Hoseok enveloped his hand with his and urged him to just look at him. And for some reason, Yoongi can't look away. He held Hoseok's soft gaze and just let him led him
somewhere. "Eating," he answered softly.

Hoseok then chuckles, and the next thing he knows, they are now seating on the chair across Jimin and Tae who's watching them quietly. "There are tables and chairs you can occupy.
Why are you here standing and eating while facing this damn wall?"

Yoongi can't help but look at his lap again. "It helps me digest my food better."

Hoseok hummed and then he handed his lunch box back. "Do you want to go there and eat again?"

Yoongi stared at Hoseok.
He stared at the guy and Hoseok just stares back at him. The pleasant smile still on his face and his gaze understanding. Hoseok looks as if he will let Yoongi do whatever Yoongi wanted to do. Hoseok nods at him as if silently telling him that if Yoongi wanted to go back there
and stand facing the wall and eat alone, he will let him do so. He won't ask why. He won't convince him to stay, Hoseok will let him do whatever he pleases and Hoseok will understand.

And so, Yoongi nodded.

"Okay," Hoseok then lets go of Yoongi's hand. Smiling at him one last
time as he watched Yoongi take his lunch box and stand again.

And as Yoongi finishes his lunch, he can't help but take a glimpse at the table where Jimin, Taehyung, and Hoseok is sitting. And he saw Hoseok looking at him, flashing him a smile again.
Yoongi doesn't know what happened, but for the first time in a long while, he can finally finish his lunch without thinking that someone might come to him and scold him again or ask him questions that make him feel uncomfortable.

*************************************************
It pains Hoseok to see Yoongi isolate himself and eat alone while facing the wall. Hoseok wanted to tell him that Yoongi can take any seat he wanted in that damn cafeteria. Hoseok wanted to tell Yoongi that he can eat comfortably while sitting, but he also does not want Yoongi to
think that he is meddling with his business. So if Yoongi wanted to eat while facing the wall alone, then he will let him do so.

Hoseok talks with Taehyung and Jiming after that day when he found Yoongi crying in his friend's arms. He wanted to know what exactly happened.
Jimin said that they didn't know why Yoongi got upset upon seeing the flowers but the duo said that Yoongi has been bullied for a couple of weeks now. And Hoseok never liked bullying. And knowing that Yoongi has been experiencing such activities made Hoseok's blood boil.
He immediately released a memorandum to anyone that once he learned another bullying situation in his company, anyone who's involved will get terminated. No buts, no what-ifs, no HR meeting, or anything of that shit.
But he was not able to meet Yoongi that day or the day after. It took him a week to actually go down to their office cafeteria and finally introduce himself to Yoongi.

And having the chance to actually see and look at Yoongi at this close distance just really does something
with Hoseok's heart.

He wanted to get to know this man who is casually eating his lunch while facing the wall. He wanted to talk to him, ease his worries away, and just assure him that everything is fine. He thought that he just pities the man, but he cannot find such feelings
in his heart.

Hoseok stares at the man and smiles at him when Yoongi caught him staring. He will do his best to become as close with Yoongi as possible to ensure that no one will hurt him again. He bet that Sana won't mind sharing his job with someone as sweet as Yoongi.
***************************************************************

"Hi," Yoongi looked up from his computer to the woman standing beside his cubicle. The woman smiled at him kindly. "I'm Sana, Mr. Jung's assistant,"
Yoongi can feel his heart beat faster upon hearing that information. Did he do something wrong for the CEO's assistant to come to him? Yoongi tried to stay calm as he gave the woman a small smile of his own. "Hello, can I help you with anything?"
Sana smiled at him sweetly as she picked up his bag. "Actually he wanted you to join him for lunch. He also said that he will discuss something important with you."

Yoongi isn't sure what to say, "I..."
"He also said that he won't accept 'No' as an answer from you. At least this time." Sana then locked his computer for him and then he guided him out of his cubicle. Sana then linked her arms with him as they walk out of that floor and ride the elevator to the top floor of this
building.

He unlinked his arms from Sana's hold. "Sorry, I am just not used to this," Yoongi explained shyly. He thought that Sana will take it against him, but the woman just smiled at him and patted his back.
"No worries, I understand. I am just a clingy person so forgive me for invading your space just like that."

"Uh, no, it's fine. I just---"

"We're here!" Sana announced excitedly as she steps out of the elevator first. He motioned for him to get out as well.
"Don't worry, Yoongs, you don't have to explain yourself to me. I like you already. I think I will have a great time working with you."

Yoongi steps out of the elevator and was walking beside Sana, but he abruptly stopped midway. "Sorry, what do you mean working with me?"
Sana giggled. "Mr. Jung might fire me. I think I said enough. You can go to his office and he will explain everything to you." She then pushed him to enter the door on their right.

"But I--"

Sana just winked at him and raised her hand, "Fighting!"
"Wait---" He wasn't able to say anything else because the door closed and he heard someone clear his throat behind him. He turned and saw Hoseok leaning against his office table, smiling at him softly just like the way he did on the cafeteria the other day. He immediately felt
conscious so he crosses his arms against his chest as he looked down to his feet.

"Hello," Hoseok greeted him softly. His voice kind and sweet and Yoongi should feel uncomfortable with the sudden attention, but he found himself wanting to hear more from him. "I am so sorry to
call you at this hour. I know you were supposed to take your lunch 20 minutes from now, but I decided that it is best for you to take it somewhere not crowded." Hoseok explained. "Tae used told me that you used to take your lunch alone at your table, but ever since I made this
order that no one is supposed to eat at the production floor, you found yourself uncomfortable at the cafeteria and eat at the corner facing the wall."

Yoongi frowned. How much did Tae and Jimin tell their boss about him? He just wanted to disappear right at that moment.
"I am sorry,"

Yoongi raised his head at that. Why is this man saying sorry to him? He didn't do anything wrong. "Huh? Why are you--"

"I am sorry for sending that order. I didn't know that it will affect you that much." Hoseok continued and then he stands up straight and walks
towards him. Yoongi didn't know what to do and just steps back. "I know that it seems unfair for you and in return, you can eat in my office now any time you want."

Yoongi is dumbfounded. He doesn't know what to say, well he actually has so many questions, but he can't focus
if his boss keeps on taking a step towards him. "I--Oh my god!" he exclaimed when he took a wrong step back. His arms flailing to hold onto something as he felt Hoseok's arm wrapped around his waist and stop him from actually falling on his ass. His arms automatically wrapped
itself around Hoseok's neck and when he opened his eyes, he was met with Hoseok's intense stares.

Min Yoongi felt like he is drowning as he stares at Hoseok's dark ebony eyes.

Min Yoongi felt like he is falling even if Hoseok is holding him steady.
Min Yoongi felt lost and at ease all at the same time.

And as Yoongi continued to stare at Hoseok, trying to read each emotion that danced on his expressive eyes, he can't help but to actually pull Hoseok closer to him. Feeling his warm body against him as comfort and a feeling
of security rushed on him. He felt Hoseok pull him closer by the waist and Min Yoongi should really freak out now because someone is within his personal space, touching him and staring deep into his eyes as if Hoseok is trying to read his very soul. But he found himself wanting
more.

Yoongi felt like he can finally breathe properly now after years of not allowing himself to do so. Yoongi felt like he can share everything with his man in his arms and actually be calm. Yoongi felt like Hoseok can make him better in many ways he could ever imagine.
Yoongi felt like...

But he is a stranger, a voice from the corner of his mind reminded him.

And despite that knowledge, Yoongi still found himself wanting to make Hoseok more than a stranger in his life.

"You're a stranger." Yoongi found himself saying.
"Yes, I am," Hoseok answered in a soft low voice as if he is afraid to break whatever they have at that moment. Hoseok then brushes his fingers against Yoongi's soft cheek. Those cheeks that have been soaked with tears a couple of times before. "You are a stranger to me,
as well."

Yoongi nodded in agreement.

They're strangers to each other, so why is Hoseok holding him as if he is something precious that he doesn't want to let go? Why is Yoongi leaning against Hoseok more, as he let out a sigh of relief?
Yoongi doesn't have any answers, but he wanted to stay in Hoseok's arms. It calms him. It makes him feel as if someone finally understood how he feels. He sighs blissfully as burrows himself in Hoseok's embrace. Maybe he will regret this later. Maybe he will ask himself why he's
doing this. Maybe he will be ashamed for actually doing this.

But he will deal with that later.

For now, he doesn't want to think about the what-ifs. He doesn't want to deal with the maybes. He doesn't want to answer the buts.

For now, he wanted this peace Hoseok's embrace is
letting him feel. It's been a while since he felt this.

"Hoseok-hyung, we saw Sana took Yoongi---Oh my gosh, I am so sorry!"

Yoongi opened his eyes and pushed Hoseok away. He blinked his eyes as he looked at the equally surprised Hoseok in front of him.

And just like that, the
calm tension surrounding them is gone. Hoseok tried to reach for him, but Yoongi jumped away from him. Picking up his bag and hugging it. Hoseok sighed and just took a step to hide him from the intruder.

"How many times do I have to tell you that you have to knock, Jimin?"
Hoseok lectured the younger.

"I'm sorry, hyung." Jimin apologized from the doorway. "It won't happen again. I am just making sure that Yoongi-hyung is safe."

"He is safe, Jimin."

"Okay, great. Well, I'll go now. Tae and Kookie are waiting for me outside. We will be taking our
lunch somewhere else." Jimin then quirks his head to get a look at Yoongi. "You are comfortable here, Yoongles?" Jimin asked. As if he is ready to take Yoongi away the moment he says 'No'.

Hoseok also turned to him. "You can go with Jimin, if you want to."
And Yoongi stares at Hoseok again. His expressive ebony eyes are now devoid of any emotion. And Yoongi doesn't want to see that kind of eyes. He wanted to see the eyes that are full of comfort and understanding. So he held his gaze and answered Jimin, "Yes, I am comfortable here
, Jimin. Thank you for asking."

And there, the moment he said that, Hoseok's eyes beam in relief as he flashes him a small smile. He can see the flicker of happiness and satisfaction.

"Okay," Jimin chirped happily. "I'll leave you two, now."
Yoongi just nodded as Hoseok guided him to seat on the small couch at the corner of the large room. Hoseok then turned to his desk to dial on the intercom asking Sana to deliver lunch for them.

"I have my own lunch." Yoongi said as he pulled it out from his bag. "I actually
packed more than usual because I thought I will be joining Jimin and Tae for lunch today. Since they are not here, you can have it instead." He offered shyly. "If you want, of course,"
"Nevermind Sana. Yoongi packed our lunch. Thanks anyway." Hoseok then hurriedly ended the call and smiled brightly at Yoongi. "Of course I want it, hyung. Thank you."
***Im sorry for not updating this thread, but here you goo~~***
Yoongi can't help, but stare at Hoseok when he heard what he just offered. He isn't sure he heard Hoseok correct.

"You want me to be your personal assistant?" Yoongi asked again as he put down his chopsticks. He can see how Hoseok fidgets with his own chopsticks and okay, Yoongi
might also notice how Hoseok licked and slightly bit his lips. Yoongi immediately averted his gaze before Hoseok caught him staring.

"Yes," Hoseok answered, a question mark on the tip of his tongue. "Only if you want, of course."
Yoongi quirks his head. He isn't sure why Hoseok offered such a position to him of all people. Also, as far as he knows, this man already has an assistant. "You already have an assistant though, right?" Yoongi tried to recall the name of the woman who picked him up a while ago.
He is not that good with names. "The one who picked me up?"

"Oh, Sana?" Hoseok asked and Yoongi just nodded. Hoseok smiled sheepishly at him. "Well, she's actually Joon and I's assistant. We've been meaning to get another one for me, but we cannot find someone who fits the job."
Yoongi quirks an eyebrow at Hoseok, "And you think that I fit the job?"

"Yes," Hoseok answers immediately. Yoongi was about to say something, but Hoseok held up his hand to stop him. "And before you can say anything, I reviewed your profile and experience. Which is actually
unusual because it says on your resume that you are a Music Major graduate and yet you are here working as part of the Test Team, but that's another topic to discuss later." Hoseok then dismissively waved his hand. "Anyway, I heard enough recommendation from your supervisor and
he is the one who actually told me that you seem to fit the job as my assistant. I also believe that even though you don't have any experience in such a position, you can learn, right?"

Yoongi thought of what Hoseok says and nodded in agreement. He may have social anxiety and
has difficulty dealing in certain situations, but he is confident that he can definitely take whatever position that was given to him. He is proud of his ability to adapt and therefore, he knows that he won't have any trouble with being Hoseok's assistant.
However, he wanted to keep his position in the Test team, but he knows that it isn't that easy to actually get promoted in that department. He's been working in this company for 2 years now and though the position pays enough, he knows that he wanted to do something new.
And maybe this time, he will get to his own table outside of Hoseok's office and he won't bother to go down the cafeteria to eat again. He will be working alone in his own space and there wouldn't be any nosy and bully co-workers that will bother him again.
And on top of all of that, he will get to see Hoseok more often.

Yoongi blushed at that thought. He is absolutely not counting that as one of the pros in the new position Hoseok is offering.

"So," Hoseok started. Eyes persuasive and hopeful. "Do you accept? I promise that the
