I realize Suicide Prevention Month is coming to a close, but...

Being there for people and treating them with gentle encouragement and kindness should be a year round thing. No one deserves to suffer alone, and plenty of people are.

A short list of reasons to stay:
1. Your friends.

They love you regardless of whether or not you& #39;re feeling positive or happy that day. Although it can often be difficult to show appreciation for someone, they truly do care for you. You& #39;re valuable and deserving of love. Always, in whatever situation you like.
2. Yourself.

Lacking self confidence is okay. The important thing to remember is that you aren& #39;t a bother...nor are you perceived as a liability. Taking care of yourself first and foremost is encouraged... You& #39;ll crack under the pressure if you ignore your own needs and desires.
3. Your favorite things.

Isn& #39;t there something you love or have been following the development of, like a game? The feelings of happiness and comfort it gives you are real. Enjoying that is okay. No interest is considered "cringe" or "strange." Societal standards are fluid, so.
4. Your dreams.

I know there are so many things you want to do in this life, and that is admirable. Even the most lofty goals can be done, though it is perfectly fine to have small ones. Your aspirations can range from becoming a famous artist to moving out. All are wonderful.
Happiness doesn& #39;t have to be temporary. Though the feeling is transient, so is the sadness you& #39;re feeling... That gives your joy much more value. It& #39;s okay if you& #39;re hurting– no one is unloved simply because they& #39;re not mentally well. You don& #39;t have to pretend to be happy.
You being here is no small circumstance. Your existence means the world to someone even if it isn& #39;t explicitly stated. Every day you live is another miracle. It& #39;s okay to feel the way you feel– You never have to apologise for being human. You& #39;re loved and treasured as you are.
