Past and recent events are the reason why I am writing this. This so called friendly group for furries and lgbt folk named Winterhaven has made quite a name for itself. It claims to be a safe space for people to be themselves but at what grade?
This thread will go on why with some recent examples of the stuff that happens behind the "happy posts" from the server& #39;s twitter.
First off the staff, the staff makes a poor job with moderating the server wether it& #39;s big or not, they let pass a lot of hurtful and downright awful comments and remarks, they only get in action once someone complains and sadly, the repercussions never fall in the wrong doer.
One example is my friend who, as I am, is trans so obvs watching a member making a "burning the trans flag" emote combo wasnt seen as a friendly joke, they got banned for complaining for it, a justifiable reason to get angry. The staff mocks my friend for "being too sensitive".
Before that my friends and me included got even muted for calling out a member of making transphobic comments, in the words of staff only us, coincidentally the only trans members mad at the transphobe got scolded off and muted.
I personally tried to reach a mod with no avail. Staff got mad we said every now and then "Trans Rights!" and posted a cute trans flag heart emote, because for the staff we were causing drama.
But what the staff apparently sees as ok is the following:
•Racism from new and old members (which is againts its rules)
•Any kind of lgbt phobia even within the staff (again in the rules)
•Nsfw talk in a server targeted specially for minors.

This server, this community is not a safe space for minorities anymore,with the bigotry and racism all over the place, the careless corrupted staff, it has become a toxic place, if you aren& #39;t a rude bigoted and racist "popufur" you will be silenced when you want justice.
My experience with WH was mainly hatred againts my identity, a lack of care for the innocent members, a staff that just want people to stop complaining for justifiable and serious reasons to keep the UWU wholesome of the server
