Fourth Y nuzlocke thread!
After Grant& #39;s big hit. Dewberry and Bean needed help, so I decided to bring Tazer and Patty onto the team! Tazer has been trained up to and I& #39;m currently in the process of training up Patty. Six deaths... Let& #39;s hope more don& #39;t happen anytime soon...

Unsure if I wanna add someone else onto the team at the moment. Bringing back Chernabog or deciding to start using Shallot would probably be my likely options if I did. Gonna see what Route 11 gives me first.
Got Patty up to level 26 just like the others. Coincidentally, that was also the level she evolves at! Unfortunately had to give up Body Slam though, because of Strength and more important moves

Oh yeah, that small Korrina battle. Thought I was somehow doomed but, it actually wasn& #39;t too bad. Patty& #39;s Yawn and Bean& #39;s fire moves stopped those two Lucarios pretty easily.
In the grassy patches of Route 11, I ran into a seemingly tough Throh. So I put him to sleep, chipped away, caught him and named him Brick. Satisfied capture but, man. I SURE DO WISH I& #39;D STOP GETTING MINUS SPECIAL DEFENSE NATURES.
Reflection Cave is so pretty... Also, I know people have already mentioned this but I love the detail of the trainers being able to see you in the mirrors, turning around to challenge you to a battle. It& #39;s small, sure. But really neat nonetheless.
Shalour City! Getting through Reflection Cave wasn& #39;t really too bad and massive shout-out to Patty for tanking numerous hits for the team!
What did I find in Reflection Cave. A Roggenrola! Three Unova captures in a row, damn. Named the little guy Teapot. Why? Don& #39;t ask.
To the left of Shalour City was Route 12. Couldn& #39;t access much of it but I decided to take my chances in the grass available and found a Slowpoke. Was in great need of a water type and I can easily say that I& #39;m satisfied with this. Named her Rosie.
Battled Serena to see who was worthy of the mega ring and my worth managed to soar thanks to a crazy, electrifying flying squirrel, with help from a magic fennec and a little tusk dragon.
Third gym! Nothing really notable happened here as I managed to get through all the trainers pretty easily, with Korrina not being anymore difficult whatsoever. After the massacre that happened in Grant& #39;s gym though. I& #39;m kinda relieved I ran into barley any trouble here.
Can thankfully sum up the gym battle in one tweet this time.
-
Patty be bulky.
Patty use yawn and put to sleep opponent.
Patty defeat Mienfoo and Machoke while they be asleep.
Patty switch out.
Tazer nuzzle Hawlucha.
Hawlucha become paralysed.
Tazer goes ham.
The end...

Welcome to The Tower of Mastery! We have giant doorways that all just lead to these small rooms that people seemingly live in.
I& #39;m the worthy one!
Explosive? Yeah, I guess I can agree with that. The Lucario you gave me Swords Dancing and then proceeding to absolutely destroy your Lucario with one punch was pretty explosive not gonna lie.
O! An accidental naming but I decided to roll with it. He& #39;ll probably stay in the PC as I don& #39;t really want to use what is essentially a free mega. Plus I prefer Brick& #39;s tankiness so, yeah...

Made it to Coumarine City and obtained the Good Rod! Was unaware that the only Old Rod encounter in most areas was that idiot heart, so I feel annoyed that I could& #39;ve returned to Ambrette Town and got something better instead of wasting my encounter with the Old Rod

Went into this house in Coumarine and talked to a person. He was talking about music or something and when finished, the BW emotion theme started playing...
Backtracked to Shalour City to use the good rod and caught myself a Remoraid! Since he& #39;s a jet fishy, I named him Turbo. Definitely good to have another water type available to use.
Speaking of water types... My encounter at Azure Bay was a Chinchou that I also fished up with the good rod! Sparkle Sparkle Sparkle! *blows whistle*
Lastly, decided to get my Route 13 encounter before facing the gym in Coumarine and was surprised to find a Gible! This landsharky shall be called Nom Nom. Gonna stick with using Dewberry as my dragon though.
(1/2) Another battle against Serena and, oh wow. Kinda tricky. Or more specifically, one Pokèmon was tricky. Her Meowstic has some bulk and I had next to no ways to take it out fast. Almost killed Bean and Tazer as a result but, thankfully. Acrobatics saved the day, ending it.
(2/2) Oh, then Brick jumped into battle, easily taking out her Asbol and Frogadier. So things weren& #39;t too bad after her Meowstic, but still. Should probably think about doing something to properly counter Pyschic types on the team. Also Ghost thinking about it.
Fourth gym time! Getting through the trainers wasn& #39;t really too bad, minus one of them who had an Exeggutor that was kinda a pain to take out. Other than that, mostly fine. Time to take on Ramos I suppose.
(Side note, this gym has a really nice aesthetic and looks wonderful)

So, how was the battle Taylor? Well... You may notice that, there has been a casualty... However, similar to a certain flowery teammate we lost back at the second gym. They died a hero. A valiant one. Thank you, Patty...
(1/5) Thankfully this isn& #39;t going to be as hard to talk about as the Grant fight. I opened with Patty, Ramos with Jumpfluff. Didn& #39;t seem too bad. Acrobatics couldn& #39;t do much thanks to Patty holding onto her Rocky Helmet and then Patty raised her special defenses with Amnesia.
(2/5) Then came a Leech Seed, but Patty managed to get Jumpfluff down to yellow with a single Sludge, also poisoning it! Things seemed promising. Patty was seeded but, little did Ramos know about Liquid Ooze!
(3/5) The Jumpfluff sucked up foul ooze, going to the red zone, then the poisoning promptly finished it off. Cool! However, Gogoat was next up... Patty stayed in, wanting to tank more hits for the team. Unfortunately, Gogoat caught us off guard by using... Bulldoze.
(4/5) Patty, down to 6hp. Sludge had damaged Gogoat somewhat, but afterwards. She fell... Still being seeded resulted in Gogoat sucking up more bad ooze, resulting in damage to the Gogoat, but also Patty& #39;s unfortunate demise... Ouch. I made the choice to send in Brick next.
(5/5) Things got better. Brick had to heal once but competently took out the Gogoat and Weepinbell didn& #39;t even stand a chance. Victory was mine! Losing Patty really sucked but, she absolutely died heroically. Taking that Bulldoze and oozing a foe after her death. Wow... R.I.P.
