One day I’m gonna get on here and go into detail about how y’all be asking Jeff Bezos to do a bunch of shit that doesn’t make any sense, but I don’t feel like it today
I’ll just leave it at saying anything you do with a large sum of money that isn’t accounted for on paper could probably land you in jail
Actually, I’ll do it
When you have that much money, you’re constantly under a microscope by the government. I’ll preface with that, to let y’all know that he can’t just get away with shit
I’ll also preface this by saying I don’t care about that nigga, so I’m not “defending billionaires”. There’s just clearly a lot that people don’t know, so I’m sharing the information I have
Ok. So people say Jeff Bezos is a billionaire however many times over, and he should give that money away. That’s not possible
Amazon is worth however many billions of dollars. And yes, that is Jeff Bezos’ company. But he cannot just transfer some crazy amount into his personal checking account without raising a ton of red flags
There’s only a certain amount of money you can move before the government takes a look at you. For y’all Twitter wealthy people who move 10K+ around all the time, you’ve been looked at. You just passed the test, so you didn’t know
So if Jeff Bezos moves what y’all want him to move for y’all to be satisfied, the feds are gonna be like “well what the fuck does he need a billion in his personal account for?”
Now, he can give money away from his business accounts. But, he has to have that on paper. It has to be donated to organizations, and the government has to be able to see both parties’ statements if it’s too much. He can’t just give out billions in cash to people
He can put a million into a bunch of people’s personal accounts, but

1) How the fuck would he get those
2) The government would ask why.

If that doesn’t look like money laundering, idk what does
And sure. He can go to court, fight the case, and be found innocent. It’s too risky though
And I see people say “Jeff Bezos can end homelessness with [insert dollar amount] and still have [insert dollar amount]. And here’s the thing about that. Yeah that’s cool if all you’re look at is math, but

... how the hell would he do that?
You can’t just write checks to random people you don’t know. You can find yourself caught up in some shit. Also, ask yourself this simple question ... who’s gonna find every homeless person in America and give them the news? and how?
You’d have to scour every neighborhood in every city in the entire country, and hope you find them all. Keep in mind that America isn’t just LA, NYC, Miami and Chicago. There are 50 states, and who knows how many cities, towns and villages in each of them?
So let’s say by some miracle, he finds all the homeless people in the country. Where does he put them?
You can’t just throw them in houses, because those homes are either owned by people, or banks, who would have to agree to this
The only alternative is building giant shelters. But he’d need the government’s permission. And not the US government. The local government in every single district of every single city in America would have to allow this
Here’s why that would never happen. Jeff Bezos can fund that all he wants. The construction alone would still have to be voted on by a board and approved. That’s not even mentioning the zoning, and even the residents in that area
And keep in mind, again, the US isn’t just LA, NYC, Miami and Chicago. So now what do you think the odds are of this happening?
Truthfully, I explained all that for no reason. At the end of the day, the local government in each of these areas can afford to do something to help homeless people. They have the money and the power to. It’s on them, not the tech dude
As far as the thing with his taxes, sure. That isn’t fair. But at the end of the day, when you have that much money, you can afford an accountant who knows all the ins and outs, and can save you as much money as possible. And if we’re being honest with ourselves, that’s the goal
