Year 2 of marriage has been quite interesting. While we typically spend a lot of time together, covid has forced us to merge work/play/parenting under the same roof EVERYDAY and I can honestly say I like my husband. (Thread)
Yesterday at dinner we talked about where we think we would be if we were still single. I’d probably still be in STL managing my own non-profit. He’d be in NY traveling every other month for creative work. There’d be no Kinloch Doc and there’d be no Rare Breed + Black Tee Golf
Being with Devin (more so than being married) has activated parts of me that I never knew I possessed and vice versa. My creativity is challenged, welcomed, and nurtured. His patience is unparalleled
All in all, our partnership is healthy which I am grateful for considering a lot of the marriages I witnessed were not. Which is why I never wanted to be married. I have a great one and I thank God for him everyday.
