this situation has been harder to swallow than i thought it would. black lives matter,and will always matter. What tyler tweeted the other day was ignorant, and you ALL can objectively admit that. not talking about an important subject is one thing, but making fun of people (1/7)

wanting him to speak about the said subject, sucked.
From personal experiences and from what i have seen , i can say that tyler is a good and a caring person. but that was a clumsy move and it would be hypocritical of me not to admit that. (2/7)

However he’s hurt many of my friends,
especially my POC friends. and i can’t, and won’t deny that.

People, especially my POC pals, are in the absolute right to be mad at him.

saying i’m not grateful would be a lie, i am 1000% grateful and will always be grateful for everything he’s done for me. but guys, not agreeing with someone and calling them out DO NOT mean you’re being less grateful. (4/7)

it’s the opposite i’d say, i wanted (still want) him to recognise his mistake so that he can grow as a person, that’s what we all want, right ?

learning and understanding things is a big part of growth and being able to take constructive criticism is proof of maturity. (5/7)

all i want is both side to understand, learn, grow from that, so that it never happens again. It is not about being political here, it’s about black people being killed on a daily basis when they’ve done nothing (6/7)
