If Starmer outriders continue to analyse things through the lens of the Tories being a default, not only will they lose and lose big in 2024, they'll constantly move right rendering Labour pointless as an alternative to the Tories.

The other analytical fault that needs to be abandoned is the idea that press coverage either: doesn't have a real impact or is a reasonable natural phenomena that everyone should be expected to deal with. Neither are true.

Plus if you're from a political current that sabotaged the left when they were in charge, spare me the sanctimony. Especially when your political current bathed an entire region in blood with illegal wars.
