Dak Prescott vs Seattle Seahawks Thread:

EVERY. SINGLE. DROPBACK. Down & distance included

LEGGO
Number 1: Setting the tone. Not sure if they expected man coverage from the tight set but they got it. Dak gets the ball out quick and Amari does a good job snapping to and finishing the catch.

They got the ball out quick early. Should have integrated quick game more.
Again going with the quick game. Max protect. Quick PA look. Thought this was an "Alert" call live (RPO) but OL is definitely pass protecting here. Dak forced into a lightning quick decision and he makes it when he needs to. Nice play defensively on the PBU
Number 3: Nice hesi release by CeeDee and good job making sure his route depth took him to sticks. Nice pitch and catch. Feel Lamb is either converting 3rd downs or making explosive plays over the middle.
Number 4: Something they should do more with the current construction of the OL. They will run triple option off this later with Ced as the elongated pitch man on the outside. RPO's are good, guys.
I'd like to see Dak manipulate his arm slot here a bit more to get this ball snuck by the defender bearing down. Seattle's aggression on naked's worked for them here.
Seattle brings 6 with man coverage behind. Nice design to clearout for Coop running the under there. Dak holds the safety with his eyes and then gets to his primary read for the 3rd down conversion.
Number 7: Nice snag by Schultz on the crosser vs KJ Wright, whom looked pretty outmatched any time he was asked to play in coverage from what I remember. Dak is dealing on this drive so far.
Number 8: Seems to be a miscommunication between the rookie and Dak on the route depth here. Dak thought CeeDee was snapping it off just past the sticks it seems.
Number 9: It was there! 88 crosses 50's face and carries 50 inside to open the window to 86. 86 just runs a bit of a stinky route and then also fails to use his frame to frame out the defender. Field Goal Time
Number 10: More WR screen but the design here seems counterintuitive. zone blocking and backfield flow the linebackers toward the screen side. Allows Bobby Wagner to do Bobby Wagner things for no gain.
On the only 2nd and 10 run of the game it looks like Dak checked to it.
Number 11: Dak is getting really good at creating free plays. And CeeDee seems to do a good job of being the receiving end of these plays. Nice little darty dart in stride up the seam.
Number 12: Bit high and outside, but probably catchable. Another RPO. Looks like 50 is his read. His decision-making has been seamless so far in this game.
Number 13: Cowboys run an NCAA concept here. 33 carries Schultz on the inside post and Amari does an outstanding job attacking the CB's blind spot with a late stem outside before breaking in the post. Dak slides left and delivers.
Number 14: Adams just being a player here. Nice PBU. Good job by Dak here recognizing the blitz and getting to Gallup on the hot immediately.
Number 15: Wild play. This might be caught if Coop doesn't pull up a bit before going after the ball. Total freestyle by Dak and Coop here. Dak decided to throw this to a spot and trust Coop to show up on time. Big time player trying to make a big time play.
Number 16: Lotta vertical routes and a lot of over the top coverage that's taking everything away.
Number 17: Seamless. We don't talk enough about how good Dak's process is about 95% of the time. Both pre and post snap he really gets through it quickly.

I don't like the front knee lock he looks to have here. Wanna see a bend. First I've noticed it. Been accurate so far.
Number 18: Amari is such a solid route runner. So good at attacking blind spots and manipulating the leverage of defenders. Outside leverage by the CB and Coop attacks his outside shoulder to get him in the spin cycle.

Dak reads left and brings eyes back right to 19. Easy money
Number 19: Inside leverage from backside CB, KJ Wright, slot corner. Looks like man pre-snap. Got Ced matched up with Wright and they took advantage of that mismatch.

It doesn't get much easier. Great job by Ced with the shoulder shimmy to momentarily freeze the safety.
Number 20: Mesh here. Easy completion on the hitch.
Number 21: Too slow here. He didn't like what he saw anywhere (nothing was open) and he waited too long to uncork this one. After he hits his drop apex he should throw on first hitch. He hitches 3x. Safety was right there too so he couldn't lead him into the hospital.
Number 22: Max protect and it doesn't matter at all. Pressure still comes easy. Dak again takes an extra hitch instead of throwing it to the spot and trusting Gallup to be there.

Had him on the first hitch. Hitched again and it cost him. @TimmyBFromThaD
Number 23: Another nice, quick decision from Dak here. Good finish by Schultz here to secure this one.
Number 24: Just a gross little checkdown but I'm not sure how the zebra's missed Wright getting into Zeke's helmet. I believe that should have been a flag.
Number 25: Gallup isn't the route runner that Coop is, but he's such a physical competitor. He simply boxes out Shaq Griffen on this one. I'd like to see this thrown a bit to the outside, but that's being picky.
Number 26: Zeke drop
Number 27: Zeke drop
Number 28: Really ugly play here. CeeDee and Dalton on top of one another here. No where to really go with the ball. Maaaaaybe he can come backside on the dig but Adams is underneath it. Could have easily been a big negative if he does come backside.
Number 29: Lol Gallup really does just run right by him here. Great ball here by Dak too. You could even call it a dime, if you wanted.
Number 30: Zeke Drop
Number 31: This is very, very fun. Weird, THE DIG IS OPEN ON DAGGER!!!!

Does a nice job stepping up and sliding left to buy himself time and then he throws an absolute dart to Ced Wilson, who makes a nice little adjustment and them scampers for the touchdown.
Number 32: CeeDee. Intermediate crosser versus the zone. Wide open. Clockwork.
Number 33: For the "DaK cAn'T aNtIcIpAtE" crowd. Get's rid of this one before the pressure gets home and does a really nice job recognizing where 50 was leveraging late. For some reason he shades inside and Dak recognizes a window.
Number 34: Failed screen. The Seahawks do a good job being aggressive against the boot sending Wagner free.
Number 35: Good throw out in front of Noah Brown and a good finish by him to go out and get this slant.
Number 36: No excuse here. Dak just did what QBs do sometime. Try and guide short, wide open passes and he unfortunately floats this outside of Blake Bell's reach.
Number 37: Michael Gallup is so good. I wrote about this play from him for @PFN365 after the game. This ball is a hair underthrown and he flashes hands late. Not his best ball, but not a bad ball at all.
Number 38: Dak leaves this one just a hair behind Schultz. Get it just a bit more outside and this is a completion and not a drop/pass breakup/whatever it is
Number 39: This, were it to be interception, would have to go down as simply a coverage win. Dak is off balance trying to perfectly lead 11 here, but Gallup on the option route correctly breaks it to the comeback. The ran what coverage gave them. Comeback brought CB down there.
Number 40: Another failed screen
Number 41: They're isolating Gallup in 3x1 and really getting good looks after he burned downfield twice. Nice and easy read with the corners hips facing away from Dak. Pitch and catch to Gallup.
Number 42: Back to the quick game for a brief spell. Getting these easy completions to space is something you do when your OL is flaming hot garbage.
Number 43: Gallup almost really hurt them here. Peeks inside off the read option and whiffs on the corner. If he catches that block we get a better little gain there.
Number 44: Love this play from Dak on first down. If it's not there take what you can get.
Number 45: Only option
Number 46: Not sure about this one. Feel like with the way the DB was leveraged this should have gone to the back shoulder. But if this ball is high and outside it looks like Ced has a chance to elevate toward the sideline.
Number 47: Another nice RPO look here from Dallas. Like these nice easy completions that aren't just simple hitches, outs and slants on these RPO's.
Number 48:
Number 49: Don't see Gallup get pinched to the sideline often, but he does here unfortunately.
Number 50: Take what's given
Number 51: Anotha one. Take what's given and get it to the sideline if you can.
Number 52: Man, if he has time here he might have Gallup along the sideline right in that Cover 2 sweet spot.
Number 53:
Number 54: Poopy. Another missed opportunity due to pressure. Wants CeeDee on the corner but having to step up takes away the window needed to deliver it on time.
Number 56:
Number 57: Man, this could have gone big. Why, exactly, Is CW52 looking in the backfield? The offensive line is KILLING you on this final drive.
Number 58: Nice completion here to Ced. Steps up vs the 3-man and delivers a strike outside for a 1st down.
Number 59: Good thing this was a drop in this situation. Would have killed a lot of time for a little gain.
Number 60: Can't lose to a 3-man rush like this. Pathetic attempt on the left side.
Number 61:
THAT'S IT! I QUIT!
