My prediction for Zeke’s comeback

Before I actually go to why Armin would play a role in Zeke’s comeback, first why would it be Armin the one talking with Zeke?

1. Being commander

How is being commander suppost to explain? Well

Each and every spotlight commander had a specific thing to deal with, not “titans in general” but for example

Erwin - the reveal of the basement/titan shifters

Hanji - The yeagerists / the alliance

And now it's Armin’s turn
‘well he's gonna deal with Eren’

Everyone is gonna deal with Eren
But his role as the 15th commander will entrust him with a bigger role than the other members of the alliance

Let's go back a little further

Back in chapter 126
Hanji the 14th commander of the SC already decided they would leave dealing with Zeke to Armin or Pixis

Only for us to see that Pixis’s titan was taken down

But taken by who? By Armin, I think it was a highlight with Armin's words and him especially killing Pixis, so just we can Pixis off the list, and now Armin just remains.

Back to Hanji's conversation

After they realized Levi heard their talking which they mentioned leaving Zeke to Armin and Pixis

He clears his objective which is killing Zeke.

Chapter 132 only supports this theory, how?

We get some highlights, but ALL of them are in the same chapter, which isn't a coincidence, and each got their own ass scene exm :

• Hanji appointing Armin as commander

• Armin helping Levi

• Levi’s recovery

• brief Pieckalena

1. Hanji appoints Armin as commander

Hanji smiles knowing what they're about to do, they were probably planning it all along

They appoint Armin as the next commander of the survey corps, which will take their previous task of dealing with Zeke as a responsibility as well

They praise Armin entrusting the alliance with him

You can see the fright in his eyes but I’ll get to that part on checkpoint 3

They also " remind " Armin that's Levi's is his subordinate now but I will also get to that in checkpoint 3

2. Armin helping Levi
A brief moment of Armin taking care of Levi, remember all the people present and mentioned in this scene

Armin takes the majority of it, this scene could've been just a wholesome extra, but I just think it's a hint for the start of their companionship

As I said remember all the mentioned and the present

• Pieck Finger which is also the intellegent member of the warriors appear, a companion of Zeke and almost with the most scenes with him

• Levi mentions Pieck who is also a follower of Zeke AND has a bond with Pieck

I’ll get into Pieckalena's part soon, for now just remember they're both companions of Zeke

I love how that extra scene involves everyone with some relation to Zeke (Except for Armin who's about to have one according to this theory)

3. Levi’s recovery

Levi with Gear blades, despite his hands being unsteady he says that 2 fingers are enough for him to fight, but he literally has no reason to fight but to achieve his objection of killing Zeke, killing Zeke is his only notice to fight

I’ll be surprised for him to have another reason for the amount of babble he throws about killing Zeke, so I think the only reason he's moving is that Zeke would be here all

We see the current commander, the next commander, and a great leader all paying concern for Levi together

4. Pieck and Yelena's companionship with Zeke

We know both of them were his companions at some point
And both Pieck and Yelena have some interest in each other so they share their Co with Zeke and their interest in each othert

This theory relies on Armin mostly, but there must be some type of ally in it which will be Pieck and Yelena

When Yelena reveals Eren’s whereabouts, she asks them for a favor which commander Hanji admits her powerlessness

As I said about Pieckalena's companionship

We have a little interaction with between them while Armin and Levi are present, and ofc it's a bg thing but Armin was still around Levi
There’s brief mention to Zeke, and everyone in the room has some link to him weirdly, not Jean, not Reiner not Mikasa, were there

Everyone had a link to Zeke but it's Armin that's yet to have one, being present around the people who do.
