+nblm/mlm term, homosexual also applies to lesbians. gay was our term originally, now we no longer have one. especially trans or non-binary gays. when we say we're gay people don't think we mean gay, they think we mean bi or pan or whatever. it's frustrating to not have a term+

+for ourselves that everyone understands. i highly doubt the whole community will stop using gay as an umbrella term anytime soon, but please at least try to understand why it makes us uncomfortable/upset.
