Listen, when I was 19 I had a fling with a 39 year old. At the time I thought I was SO cool and mature and *loved* older men. Now that I’m 32 and looking back it was fucking gross on his end. He was the singer of a band and 100% used his position of power, and knew better.

Yes it was consensual, but HE should have been like “listen, you are way too young for us to be even discussing this.” And not entertained it. We realized at one point he was closer in age to my parents than to me. And joked about it. Now I’m SO grossed out by the whole thing.

I WASNT mature. I wasn’t special. I was just young and naive and didn’t have the standards a woman his age would have. Also, he still dates *much* younger women.
