Unhealthy 5-orange in Spiral Dynamics is obtaining wealth through exploiting existing industries without contributing to innovation. "Get rich quick."

Healthy 5-orange is a focus on innovation that naturally leads to wealth and resource development outside of the 4-blue system.
Unhealthy 5 accelerated the 5 worldview, despite it being mostly unhealthy, and now 6 has been emerging the last 6-8 years (economically) in the form information industries (coaching) but orange is clinging to dear life.

Trump is the poster child for this clinging.
The taxes thing isn't a surprise as that's been a staple of unhealthy orange for a long time. The law allows for these loopholes and especially so in the last 20 years of not even being able to notice what 5-orange can do to be clever with regulation.
4-BLUE allowed itself to lose control over the last few decades with the signing of Glass-Steagall (and subsequent moves leading up to it).

This allowed 5-orange to use the economy like a slot machine with existing industries, namely auto and real estate, leading to 2008.
Then, after causing it, 5-orange convinced 4-blue to bail it out like someone who gambled everything needing a stake.
It's no wonder there's so much angst against capitalism (though unfocused and often misplaced).

Many are throwing the baby out with the bathwater blaming billionaires who actually contribute to innovation versus those who haven't...manipulating stocks, real estate, auto, etc.
Bernie hasn't been wrong about the wall street stuff but it'll likely take more finesse to make anything happen.

Whilst 6-green is largely occupied with making lower levels the victim and kicking the ladder out from under it, 7-yellow is likely going to need to emerge instead.
This means 7-yellow type of leaders in multiple branches of government applying emergent strategy to regulate orange without stifling innovation, give 4-blue opportunity at controlling and prospering society, and innovating opportunities for egocentric levels to grow.
Someone in 7-yellow is basically someone who has respect for and sees the value in health use of every part of the spiral. Often referred to as "Integral" thinking. This was used in South Africa during Apartheid when multiple vMemes were present and uncooperative.
A 7-yellow leader is someone who sees value in basic needs (beige), spiritual respect (purple), power and honor (red), social mythic order (blue), rational innovation (orange), and ethical discipline (green). But moves at the fast pace of an odd-numbered individualist tier.
4-blue upgrades by a 7-yellow could possibly mean the green new deal or something similar but tapping until multiple spiral needs.

Right now it's a liberal-championed idea but conservatives could get behind it if shown the economic benefits.
Right now, Republicans represent this unhealthy 5-orange in spades and its keeping unhealthy 5-orange where it is.

And why wouldn't you cling? It's just too good to keep making money.

It's practically the ideology and everything republican 4-blue does is in service of it.
Just like it cheapens the dollar to have an unhealthy 5-orange ideology, it cheapens the republican narrative to be money hungry when there is more depth than can be accessed in shared if it wasn't serving those unhealthy 5-orange needs.
Unfortunately, if the modern unhealthy 5-orange is simply seen as a natural progression as part of an ideology then that's going to be difficult to change but it starts from 4-BLUE seeing how 5-orange is ruining 4-blue credibility with consumers, with control.
That's, again, not to say money is evil or capitalism is bad. There is so much innovation in this decade that gives me hope of a healthier orange rising from small to large businesses but those exploits of non-innovative taking ideology still creates a swampy stench.
7-yellow innovators would likely show unhealthy 5-orange a win-win scenario in which they could be at the leading edge of these new deals. 5-orange isn't in a place of going backwards, so an updated ideology would need to feel prosperous because that's ultimately what matters.
6 will need to accept that there are some people who are in a better position than others to make effective decisions but can also be honored and not be ethically elitist about it. Healthy 6-green is slow, deliberate, focused, and intentional work to make lasting change.
I see 7-yellow innovators writing books geared at those in or flying the flag of ethical ideology to encourage focus. Focus is the big thing for 6 and being willing to chip away as opposed to applying dynamite to previous values system, cannabilizing themselves in the process.
Right now unhealthy 6 is judging and responding to 4 and 5 in crude immediate ways, no different than get rich quick vibes of 5-orange.

Get ethical quick, causing ethical destruction in the process.

Being racist about racism. Sexist about sexism. Dismantling systems.
6 will need to see the good in everyone to create ethical change that serves everyone, not just the (sometimes subjective) weakest.
7 simply moves faster and is better equipped to the patchwork needs of the whole spiral but it won't be a single 7-yellow messiah that rises from the ashes or someone giving speeches or interview but people who will take action and I see that as totally possible to happen.
It's all just a matter of when, holding on long enough and doing our best along the way.
This is from a book called Memenomics, written in 2013, which is basically the start of this first-stage 6-green version of the economy that allows things like the emergence of UBI to start making some sense.

If you want insight into economical linear progression, this is it.
