It seems like every day I see someone on Twitter complain that Christian twitter harps too much on marriage and babies. What’s a single girl to do who wants to glorify God if she can’t do those things?

My word, there is so much work to be done! Here’s a good start:
(Gasp! She said work! Someone alert the TR https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😂" title="Gesicht mit FreudentrĂ€nen" aria-label="Emoji: Gesicht mit FreudentrĂ€nen">)

1. Go grocery shopping for your elderly, pregnant, & sick members or even the ones who just had a baby. Turns out grocery shopping still needs to be done when you’re bone tired or bed ridden.
2. While you’re at it, fix some freezer meals for those folks. This is not only necessary work sometimes, it is SO overlooked as one of the most wonderful gifts you can give a new mom, a family caring for someone sick, or an elderly person.
3. Offer to babysit the children in your church family. FOR FREE. Not only will this help equip you to handle kids one day, it will teach you about sin you never knew you struggled with.

Kill the sin, kill it!
4. Ask a veteran mom to “shadow” her work. I for one would be thrilled for a young woman to ask to come to my home, to help with chores, homeschooling, cooking, you name it. This is how you learn to swim: throwing yourself in. Moms, offer to host these women graciously.
5. Take a sewing class, a cooking class, learn how to make something most people can’t make. Use this time wisely so that when you have less of it, you won’t have to spend time with the education process.
6. Serve others. Talk to your elders or older women in the church. Find out the needs of others. Serve those needs to the best of your ability. Is an elderly person lonely? Go visit them. Bring a book or better yet the Bible and read to them. Love them. Care. Help.
7. Can’t afford to buy meals for a meal train? Go in together with other like minded singles. It IS appreciated. Have no $ to spare? Your time is so valuable. Your love is so valuable. Your attitude and hands and obedience are SO valuable.
You have things to do and you have time to do it. Focus your mind on Christ, not a spouse or children, and fill that time with moments that build up treasures for you to lay at the feet of our beautiful King Jesus.
