Lancashire’s top Public Health bosses are urging everyone to work together to avoid further local lockdown measures. As it stands, we could be just weeks away from a full county-wide lockdown if people don’t take notice now.

Hospital admissions are on the rise, with over 110 people with Covid-19 in hospital in our county- 20 of which are being looked after in intensive care. We need to do it for ourselves, those around us and our county.

The restrictions in place now may seem draconian but they are far from a true lockdown. We’re simply asking people to be responsible and stick to the rules. If we all take small steps to achieve that, we will get the numbers down in time and save lives
