This is the COVID-19 iceberg that restaurants should be most concerned about after health/safety of employees and guests.

Revenue generated from offices is crucial to financial health of restaurants. If fixed costs don’t change via legislation...then everything else is fucked https://twitter.com/conorsen/status/1310905651107966976
we have wasted almost 8 months knowing this was going to happen. So fucking stupid
to make up for the lack of revenue from: happy hours, office lunches, catering, private dining rooms, corporate buyouts, expense accounts, travel etc..

You will begin to see the NASCAR effect. Restaurants will tap into extra revenue by being the marketing extension of brands.
Of course this will happen in more subtle ways then looking like a walking billboard. But even this has been done by Spanish chefs for several years by branding companies on their uniforms

Basically restaurants will become a giant advertisement. I am down with this.
Because we are not getting help from anywhere else.
Remember when corporations took big chunks of sports arenas and stadiums and labeled them as their own? Yeah this going to happen in the four walls of a restaurant

One of the problem that needs to be addressed is, what about the restaurants that cannot get these kinds deals?
don’t believe any politician that says they didn’t know about this. I’ve been telling them for 8 months
