We all hv some teachers/mentors who changed our life for better. I too had such incredible teachers in my student life till now. The life lessons they taught continue to act as guiding forces in almost all my daily actions. Felt like sharing those lessons here. :)

1. "Become your own guru first. Listen to your instinct. Even God cannot help you if you are not willing to believe in yourself and help yourself".
2. "Excess of everything is bad."
Yes. I so much agree with this. Even being nice/kind all the time can backfire. You gotta be a complete a**hole at times.

3. "Always have a priority order in life. You will have so many things to deal with as you will grow. Set your priorities right on a personal-professional level. Continue to re-define them. It will help u deal with many dilemmas in life, saving u from unnecessary stress"
4. "Never let anyone take over your mind easily. Your remote control should be in your hand. Learn to take things lightly. Laugh away in many situations. Many people, especially trolls will deliberately do things with an intention to provoke you. Don't get carried away."
5. "Motivation doesn't last daily just like bathing. You need to practice it every day. And no, motivation doesn't come from those videos. It comes from realigning with your purpose. Knowing and reiterating on your "why" of doing that particular thing"
6. "Everything happens in life 4 a reason. Think wisely before denying any new learning opportunity"
Yes. This thought can invoke genuine curiosity in many situations. Even if u hit rock bottom, fully embrace it. Take baby steps. U'll eventually find reasons 4 y u had to face it.

7. "Intelligence is not just defined by IQ. EQ (i.e., Emotional Quotient) equally matters and should be given equal importance in order to succeed in life."
8. "Whatever opportunity strikes you, never let it go away."
Thou, I hv modified it based on some experiences. Not every opportunity is meant for u. Be wise enough to evaluate every opportunity that comes ur way & filter out ones that align with ur goals.

PS, Yes. Today is not the teachers' day. But you don't need a special day to acknowledge remarkable teachers in ur life. I just got reminded of a great mentor I had in my school days, who completely changed my life view. Many of these lessons I shared were taught by them only!
