To understand what's happening in UP you've to understand what happened in 2012-17 and five years earlier and five more years earlier. You'll understand why the manifestation of Hindutva politics now in 2020. 'Caste' is very twisted, you know if you know & if don't, don't bother.
There is a direct relation between 'for whom would BabaJi accure' & 'birthday tax'. The UC, the gov employee class, the farmless labourers and a lot of Dalits would still vote for BJP in 2022. Politics is not a morality driven venture, everyone supports someone for benefits.
That's where you lose. "All the perfumes of Arabia" quote is best suited only in literature. People do not understand how bad times showed up because no one tells them. On the other hand, they think if they vote Modi out of power they'll stop receiving whatever 10,000 they get.
UC got EWS reservation. Small farmers, who are 80-85% of total get PM-Kisan money. Farmless labourers & Dalits get free ration and gas cylinders, plus the money. Widows get pension. Plus the feeling that rich are under trouble in Modi gov.
Where is the reason to not to vote for Modi? Jobholder, the middle class is screwed but the rich don't care and the lower class (who gets this free ration, mustard oil, gas cylinders and is a beneficiary of JanDhan pension, Sukanya Sammriddhi insurance scheme), is happy about it.
You see it's the surgical strike on rich what Modi Ji has done. India is such a poor country that the middle class who barely manges to live is rich for India's lower class. And Rich are always corrupt, the Bollywood have told us in 90s. So ModiJi emerges a national protagonist.
For the poor, against the corrupt. What is the reason to note to vote for Modi? Plus, Modi ji is showing place to Muslims. Pakistan has been shown red eyes and other 10,000 reasons like that.
I used the quote to show awaken conscience, like that of Lady Macbeth after Duncan's murder. I hope no one would appear suggesting me to read the play. I'd read it long back while I was preparing for IIT and had taken admission in BA English.
*not to vote for Modi. Not 'note to vote'.
