The rule of thumb for emergency fund is 3-6 months of your monthly expenses. But w/ this pandemic, one year worth of expenses might be ideal.

Two ways: live frugal/plan purchases or increase your income sources. Only after an EF can you dip on investments like UITF, stocks etc
