Brats - the unwanted littles [ an opinion-based thread ] not fact-based so dont sue me please thank you

so I guess we can start by putting our perspective about brats into one, brat is defined as a bottom, usually someone of a submissive role (therefore, bratty sub) who struggles against or challenges the top.

being bratty (personally) is a tool for me to push the actions of my top, one, is simply to gauge how much more sadism they can unleash to my masochistic self to give me what i want,-

we've all heard about fake doms, fake littles, and yes there are fake brats, those are the kind of brat who goes beyond the point of being really disrespectful, denies any form of punishment and also forces a "brat headspace" simply because they think its fun to be a fake brat-

but there is a skill to being a brat, especially a brat in rope, knowing when to be annoying, or how to negotiate, knowing when to struggle, or to fight/talk back,-

the reponse to this bratiness makes them (top) hurt me more, and when i finally become silent after each bratty action that my 'top' acknowledges this as "that's enough" in regards to each forward push-

so yes, it is that form of 'care' that makes me look up to them, push me harder and fuck me up but care for me throughout the rest of the scene, so that i wont feel that what you did to me was out of emotional retaliation.-

i do agree that owning or being a brat can be difficult at times (especially online), therefore why not many dom/top can be a brat tamer, it is more than smacking the shit out of your sub, it is more than hurting your sub until they scream out their safeword-

the secret is in the elegance of handling with brats, and sometimes, giving them no punishment is also a form of punishment (winks) its more than saying degrading stuff about them, or breaking them apart,-

as a top it is necessary to think twice ahead, because sometimes, "make me" is just the tip of the iceberg, some brats can say things that makes you just wanna beat the shit out of them, and a good comeback is much more necessary than the physical stuffs,-

we need more guidance, patience and time- however, i think we can all agree that despite our rebellious nature, we do have the ability to submit to those we feel comfortable with-

sadly ive seen plently of people degrade brats as "stubborn and unwilling to learn", making it seems negative and i completely disagree with that, just like any D/s relationship, brat and brat tamers need to find their own connection as well, not many can handle our very nature.
