Do you want to create eye catching headlines?

If so, you need to use the four U’s of writing effective headlines

-Urgency
-Uniqueness
-Ultra-specific
-Useful

Here’s some info about each one

[A SHORT THREAD]
1. Urgency

Urgency gives the reader a reason to act NOW instead of later

A since of urgency can be created by
-Setting a time window
-Limited quantity of items
-Missing out on an opportunity
2. Uniqueness

Find something new and exciting

And if it’s something the reader has heard before, try to find a way to address it in a fresh new way

People see a LOT of stuff throughout the day

And are only going to see more and more

STAND OUT
3. Ultra Specific

The more specific you get in your headline,

The better.

Give the reader an idea of what exactly what you’re going to say and how it relates to them

And when they know it’s for them...

They’re going to read
4. Useful

The most effective headlines...

Always are the ones that appears to the readers self-interest the most

Meaning:

Offer them a benefit in the headline that’s useful to THEM

This also comes down to knowing your customers and how to talk to them (Background Research)
