"Tips for maintining eye contact"... I'm at the point where I ask: why? If I'm looking at you, I won't be able to have a proper conversation with you. You rather me stare at you, or be genuine with you?

It can be more complicated with work or family events, but again, why? I rather think my answers through properly and be genuine or be able to use my skill at work, rather than getting the achievement: Stared at your nose

I guess the answer to "why" is "so we don't get in trouble". We shouldn't be getting in trouble in the first place
