One of the tactical problems we have is that Solskjær wants to play with a high defensive line and offensive high and wide full backs. However, he spent £80m on Maguire who doesn& #39;t fit the former and £50m on Wan-Bissaka who doesn& #39;t fit the latter.
This doesn& #39;t mean they are bad players as some wrongly assert. Rather, they do not fit the system Ole wants to play. A good, simple example would be to look at the physical qualities of Bailly and Dalot. There are other issues, yes, but quality wise they fit very well.
However, Maguire is Ole& #39;s captain so he won& #39;t be dropped. I don& #39;t think he needs to if I& #39;m being honest. Wan-Bissaka is Ole& #39;s go-to RB so he won& #39;t be dropped either. AWB can actually develop as an offensive FB. However, he needs to be coached a little better in that department.
AWB has definitely improved as an offensive contributor since arriving. However, there is a long way to go before he is even a viable option in our attack.
