Dear creative

Don’t listen to the noise here. This is called SHOWbusiness for a reason.

Nobody owes you a job bcs you have a degree.

You have to make yourself attractive to employers beyond just your talent.

Build your brand... PR pics, SM platforms, management, etc
Do you have a showreel?

Do you engage with industry players beyond just following celebs?

Are you tapped into what is happening in the industry because I’d just sitting at home waiting for the agent to call, you missing out?

Word of mouth is a major factor in this biz!
You may not like it but yes connections are important in this business.

Creatives like working with people they know. Even in Hollywood, directors and producers will work with the same team for decades.

Get in the game. Nobody is entitled to a spot in this industry.
Sitting on the periphery and moaning about what other people have is not gonna help your career.

If they get a free pass, good for them.

Run your own race. Put in the work, retool your strategy, etc

Just DO YOU.

Trust me, play it right? Your turn will come.
