They are all just things.. I recently had to set up a 3rd home in Abuja and I found myself bothered by what stays where. What do I leave behind from home and office to take into my new spaces. It’s hit me that most of these prized can’t do without items were sitting for 6 mths
2) THEY ARE JUST THINGS. sitting for C19 6mths not used, in some cases not even missed. I need a process to help reduce ownership of things.Things must have a purpose beyond pleasure. What’s the greater purpose for backup backup charging cables? Those shoes you wear once a year?
3)Just things. @asemota how do you decide what goes where? What are those items you feel you might as well own one in each location? @kola_aina you have joined this bad gang. So I decided all my art will be at home with my other loves. Now I am sitting staring at blank walls
4)My good friend and brother @yenchoi once told me if you pick it up and it does not make you happy (bring you joy) Toss it (give it away). This worked, my driver dresses handsomely now as he gained immensely from value that was locked up in my closet unused and collecting dust...
5)I suspect another way to deal with this is to share what you love. My Aburo @pyjama_ceo has the most amazing art pieces hanging on my walls in lagos. I have enjoyed them for a while now and he comes to visit them every now and then. He gets a great meal and some lovely scotch.
6)They are really just things... what bothers you does not start in the day it hits you. So a little over a year ago I buried my dearest uncle, We were quite close, I literally called him daddy. So after the funeral we went up to his room were all his stuff was now..
7)..Stored. 2 things hit me. 1) His space was not as meticulous as he normally Kept it. Someone had dumped things all over the place. 2) these things stayed behind and to some extent have now lost meaning or is it significance. The things stayed behind

8)Let me just end this by saying the key is people. Invest in people and they will never stay behind as your good deeds will always grow in them. Things will always fail you. Yikes!! How did this thread get here... hmm. Anyway as stated in our ( @Cchukuma) book...
9)Legacy is not a monument.. #inpursuitafrica
