woah, I found good information to all NCTzens who wants to save the #NCT2020 mega project, related to how streaming on Youtube.
-source-
journal 1: Insights of Youtube view check system (2013)
journal 2: Understanding the Detection of View Fraud in Video Content Portals (2016)
the journal was released in 2013 n 2016 but its possible that the current yt algorithm is still the same, cause this is more technical. just sharing this information and based on what I caught from those journals, cmiiw, and if u have any information dont hesitate to share here
I will explain it in a simple way and straight to the main point, which is an IP ADDRESS (IP address is the network/connection you use when streaming. 1connection = 1 IP address)
from journal1 stated that IP address is the most important factor but not necessarily critical
on Journal1 conducted experiments w/ various robots they made which were set according to the behavior of yt viewers. From the results, there were several views that were deleted or considered fake coming from the same IP address. there is no clear reason why yt delete those views
and then in Journal2, there are more detailed things about this IP address, and this is why I think we can use it as a reference to streaming on yt. It's worth a shot!
1 video, 1 IP address
yt counts views from 1 IP address at a safe number 8x plays the same video. So the 9th view is considered as a bot by yt and has the potential to be deleted. u can use this method if u want to save your internet quota. just focus on the main mv only
however, it is recommended to watch it every one/two hours. DO NOT LOOP, do not immediately replay ‼️‼️
Multiple videos, 1 IP address
as we're used to, using another video as an additional video. it is recommended to watch 2-3 other videos from different channels (it means outside the SMTOWN channel)
However, 1 IP address still has a safe number, which is 14-15x play the same video
If u've reached the streaming limit at the numbers I mentioned above, stop streaming! Dont force it. Because yt will assess bot behavior from your IP address. If this happens, your IP address will be monitored for 48 hours, and ur views will be easily deleted.
The question, if 1 network/connection = 1 IP address, does mean if wifi used on many devices it still counts as 1 IP address? Depending on the wifi
If u use public wifi, this journal says the views will be cut off more if there were only a few users because our traffic is more exposed. Its different when there are many public wifi users, our views can be covered by a high volume of traffic, so they're not easily deleted
If you use a private wifi/connection, it counts as 1 IP address. So if you streaming at home, you can use wifi for your laptop and internet data on your smartphone 😅
BUT you still have to remember the general streaming guides, such as:
Minimum quality 480p
Don't pause!
Like+leave positive comments
Share the link on all your social media
Search the videos manually on the yt bar
Do not use playlist especially in the first 24 hours
etc etc
Don't forget to log in! In Journal1, it was stated that viewers who logged in would be easier to be counted
AH! Streaming via articles or embed links is also good!
But remember, 1 IP address still has its limits. If 1 IP address has reached 8x streaming, you have to stop for a moment and change the IP address to be able to continue streaming.
How to change the IP address:
if you use wifi, forget the network first, remember, forget the network not disconnect the network. Wait around 5 minutes, then connect again to the wifi using the password (if there is a password).
other things:
many accounts for streaming are not that important. If you change your accounts but still use the same 1 IP address, your view will still be counted as 1 person.
AND PLEASE do not overplay! stream like a normal person.
THAT'S ALL! hahaha
These are important things that I can learn from those journals, please correct me if I am wrong.
If you have other information about yt streaming guide, please kindly share it here.
thank youuu 💚

*dm me if you want to read the journals
