I'm seeing similarities between Petta and Master.

1. Both are melomaniacs - who loves music to the core! Petta aka Kaali always travels with his music radio whereas Master always had his ears plugged with headsets. (1/n)

2. Their choice of music is melodies. As we know, Petta always listens to classic Tamil melodies. About Master, tracing album covers around him, he likes western jazz melodies.

3. Petta sings jazz music in hostel party by playing all jazz music instruments. So yeah, Petta lives & breathes with jazz melodies! So does Master. (3/n)

4. Obviously, both are related to college students. One is a hostel warden whereas other looks like a professor/art master. Somehow they become guardians of their students. (4/n)

5. I guess with two different looks, Master has a flashback just like Petta. And VJS is a common villain to both. Personal vendetta as Petta, maybe. (5/n)
