When I've made this point re: Rses (and kb3 et al) about their hatred for religion, which pretty much, especially in R's case, manifests for Christianity & Christianity alone, ppl b like "wym it's Islamophobic too" um sweetie what do u think Muslims believe? https://twitter.com/JeremyMcLellan/status/1310747940596654080
Anyway the Smash Community is a safe enough place for orthodox Christians ig but if I can be subjected to what I was subjected to for literally agreeing tht some1 was transphobic WOOWEE I wonder. Plus any Christian I've seen raise a conscientious objection in the general public-
gets blasted by the biggest influencers for "using religion to justify hate" & everyone claps like seals & dogpiles w/o realizing that if their brain turned on for even a moment, they could weaponize that against any Muslim smasher on sight. But tbh, I'd love to see them try🤭
Well, I know I'll probably endure some silent criticism as thin skinned, obsessed, dramatic, for continuing to speak out, but it needs to be said. You should be comfortable being public in this community as whoever you are, Christian or LGBT (OR LITERALLY BOTH LMAO we
have that too), or as private as you want to be for that matter (re: my sexuality/gender identity but idc I am straight and never hid it even though placeholder was creepy about it and Zebra was explicitly anti Catholic in his harassing of me, solely for my online mannerisms).
I mean really, this is a competitive irl video game scene, not a Theory-brained IdPol Ideal Society Simulator. If we rightly have the power to eject racists, homophobes, transphobes, etc. from this scene, then it needs to be equally unacceptable to accuse people who ain't said
nothing to nobody but could *maybe* be suspected on religious grounds.

And believe it or not I care very little about how hurtful anti-religious humor & sentiment is to me personally but I'm not an idiot. I can see when dangerous precedents and double standards are forming, so
as long as I'm a member of the Smash Community, I will advocate for the right of all Christians & people of faith to live & practice openly without fear of marginalization, defamation, or discriminatory trumped up expulsion from the scene, the same as all people deserve. Fin.
(PS my experience being Catholic in SC Smash hasn't been all bad, not by far. I will subtweet bc I don't want to draw unnecessary attn to this thread but all of Anderson, naturally, has been nothing but respectful (besides 1 pedophile joke but you get used to it), Zane told me
once that he respects religion even if he doesn't agree because respect is worthless if not mutual, which greatly impressed me, and when Foster played league with my team he literally asked me if I was comfortable with cursing in vc. Not GD, not JFC, but just cursing. That's a
level of conscientiousness I always appreciate. Mason is a flaming gay and generically spiritual/agnostic and we're basically best friends, knowing everything he knows about what I believe. The Upstate Goons also validate what is merely personal moral belief isn't homophobic. So,
thanks, yall are all real ones. Everyone else either doesn't care or keeps the negativity to themselves so guess what... 👄 I don't have a problem with them either! Alright, that's it for real this time. I'm off to pray a rosary of protection over my mentions and going to bed 🕊️)
