#HumanTrafficking During the raid on Sunday, law enforcement officers rescued 11 women who were working as sex workers at brothels disguised as bed-and-breakfast accommodations in Rustenburg in the North West province and Kuruman in the Northern Cape. RM

#HumanTrafficking Six of the women are South African, three are Lesotho nationals, one woman is from Zimbabwe and another from Zambia. RM

#HumanTrafficking Speaking on Progressive Talk last night, Hawks spokesperson Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said the women have been placed in shelters, while investigations are underway to uncover other cases of this nature across the country. RM
