As everyone scrambles to figure out what's wrong with the #Saints let's look at some tape

Quick note: Not saying Brees is the reason this team lost.

That said, Drew's made a career of being the most accurate gunslinger ever, but lately isn't taking the shots often. Example:

That play led to this one. And again, I like the playcalling by #Saints HC Sean Payton here. Little WR Screen to Taysom Hill on 3rd and short, but Brees ball placement is off.

He did much better in Week 3 compared to week 2, but it's just so odd to see Brees "missing" like this.

PULL THE TRIGGER DREW

#saints have the pre snap read they want for this deep shot to Emmanuel Sanders, but Brees never launches in the ball. Instead, he throws in accurate shot to Harris running short. Clean pocket. Right call verse the coverage. No throw.

This is a great example if why so many of us are so confused by #Saints QB Drew Brees. We expect him to throw with anticipation into open windows. Exactly what happens here.
