OK. I admit it! I do have an idea of hrhs being almost in their thirties that is linked to another thing I'm wrinting where everything is sad and sexc
They're 29/28 and they haven't seen each other in three years because Hoshiumi was recruited by an amazing team overseas and he just couldn't say no (even tho he suffered each and every day until he learned how to cook and not miss his home)
Ok, so. They're still friends and they talked every week while they were apart but, like. It wasn't the same, of course. Besides, Sachirou was going through some shitty things and was trying to figure out how to live his life without Hoshiumi. And so, their friendship kinda+
+how to say it? It was still there but it didn't feel real at times. So when Hoshiumi comes back home, there are some uncertainties in their relationship. (How should they treat each other? What if they see each other again and things are different? What if they don't get along?)
Of course, things are different and they don't get along the same way they used to. But they find themselves quickly falling into a rhythm that is pretty similar to the one they used to have in its core but at the same time, it has nothing to do with their past.
For Sachirou is a little bit easier, since Hoshiumi hasn't changed that much. He's still loud and energetic, though he can't help but notice that there's an air of steadiness and maturity around him that wasn't there before.
For Hoshiumi it comes as a bit of shock at first, since Sachirou is a lot more... relaxed now than when he was still in college. His smiles are sincere now and he just– looks happier. He is happier. It feels as if Sachirou has finally discovered how he wants to live his life and+
+who he wants to be.

I went off track. Well, eventually they fall in love all over again. (They were in love when they were younger but they weren't ready to have a healthy relationship back then). And they become a happy couple of old men who are very gay for each other. Fin.
Thank u for coming to my TED talk.
