Duuuuude. Marty is awesome.
His movies are so utterly powerful, it's just...everything.

The guy literally INVENTED mafia films. He also fucking OWNS Rob De Niro's career.

Aside from some independent features, Marty has by far surpassed everyone else in conman movie making. :)
Alright- the one mafia film that Marty has not owned.

Once Upon a Time In America
(The longest most emotional shit-bag I have ever watched. It's like 6 hours long. And has at least 70 years worth of amazing content. I have never cried in a movie before, this one did it)
David Cronenberg: The guy you think you don't know and then get fucked over because the movie was a fucking nightmare.

Alright. Cronenberg is the most twisted mind ever to create movies. He devotes all of his films for the soul purpose to TERRIFY people.

And I don't mean slasher film

"OH MY GOD SOMEBODY HELP! THERE'S A GUY WITH A CHAINSAW AT MY DOOR!!!!"
no.

I mean the type of terrifying where it haunts you all your life. They type of terrifying where you have to digest what just happened.

Body Horror (BH)
-- BH is a genre that consists of several flesh distorts.

Like people who have hemophobia (Iris' Varian)
Who are scared of blood. Guess what? This genre would be their WORST nightmare.

It's all about grossing you out with gore.

Its terrible. (AMAZING DIRECTING) it's just not-
-- for me. Too much for my tiny heart.

David was also WAY ahead of his time. His graphics and CGI were on point for his older movies.

Over all, a great example of long-lasting horror and testing out unique ideas! Congrats Mr. Cronenberg.

...

Hey! Ever thought of a war film and went, "Ah, fuck no. That shits way too boring."

What if I told you it could all change? Well, I can't. But I can do the next best thing! Rant about subjects I don't understand to get through a dark time! :') --
Mr. Stone. Oliver Stone. Not only a war film maker, but a historical influence.

I mean, this guy is legendary. He INVENTED war films. He made a new genre that Hollywood was too afraid to approach. Oh! And on top of that he's a writer AND director.

He has worked with amazing --
A-list actors and has sculpted gold from the small bits he got to pitch.

He's a real go getter and an inspiring example of a top-notch writer/director.
So! I didn't get to EVERY director on this list but I just had to elaborate on the ones I felt are either not known or overly known! XD

With that said, I'm going to end off (hopefully) this thread with a list of movies from the 8 people I listed!
