Should we thread up some Dawgs? @Dawg_Stats gave me all these video files - may as well.

First, a DART from The Mail Carrier:
Even if he never takes another snap, SBIV earned his DGD status. I can only imagine the number of reps he actually got with abbreviated summer. Kicked in the nuts every time a transfer Q bats an eye at UGA.

Saved us all from taking a hefty personal L. You owe him a beverage.
Options at the skill positions this season. Plays from Burton and Rosemy-Jacksaint display speed in getting to a spot, showing a target, and pulling in with strong hands. More than we can say from our third and fourth targets in recent years.
DART2. Having more than one guy that can deliver on contested catches has been a missing element in previous offensive attacks. Had me a little too fired up in my mother-in-law's living room.
Zamir left some people behind in this game.
What Zamir did to this poor fella #13 - who probably has a family watching at home that loves him - was disrespectful and a shame.
This hold by Burton merited a good belly laugh for me. Can't even mad about it.
Rapid fire takes:
- Richard needs to wrap. He never will.
- Watching Nolan play felt like listening to "Everybody Wants to Rule The World" for the first time. Childlike exuberance, I'd call it. That man is a terror.
- Trey Hill's booty may be a problem for shotgun snapping.
- Poor D'Wan had the perfect storm of things happen for him to have a crap time. Transfers (that don't play) taking his reps, no spring, surrender early lead after penalties, get popped in the mouth by Pool. Just a bummer for him.
- So many bodies getting push up front on D. What a joy.
- 88 is a great number for a D-lineman.
- When you can throw the ball, you can run the ball. Dawgs don't need Deshaun Watson for the O to work. Honestly, with this roster, Jake Fromm would've worked.
- Whether it's JT or The Postman, average production can work. Average turnovers, miscues, luck. Trending away from average turnovers is a problem.
- I have a feeling 28 will be the magic number this year. Don't expect this D surrenders more than that to anyone except tide.
- Also a lot of joy to be found in watching our specials. Wait until commercial for refills/pee breaks.
- Expect the "Fire Kirby" trolls to be out early this year. Find enjoyment in watching them plant *IM NOT QUITE TETHERED TO REALITY* signs in their front yards.
All in all, just grateful to have ball at all this season.

I was feeling sad a couple weeks ago thinking we might not get a chance to see this defense play live together. If it's a "root for chaos" year, so be it. One more year to watch the upper classmen.
Happy season, Go Dawgs!

"Songs from the Big Chair" is a record you should listen to.
