Has anyone else in Melb had a like.. moment when talking to someone interstate when you've realised they REALLY do not get what it's like?
Also people saying things like "I'd get so much stuff done around the house".

Ok, what if you didn't have a house? What if you lived in a tiny rental?
At this point, the isolation caused by not wanting to talk to people who say fucking shit like this is worse than the physical isolation.
People also love saying "I haven't been out much either" before reeling off all the stuff they have been doing.

Don't try and relate then say you went out for dinner.
"Yeah, we've been working from home all year as well"

THIS IS NOT JUST WORKING FROM HOME. THIS IS EVERYTHING FROM HOME.
Anyway, that was me finally snapping. If my oven hadn't broken I would 100% have baked it out like I normally do.
Oh I have another one.

Don't post a pic of a bar and write "Sorry melbourne" or "thinking of you all in Victoria". It makes you look like an asshole.
The best way I can describe it is homesickness but not for home.

Deep intense longing, not for a place but for your own life. For how you used to be.
