6 years ago i quit my job to trade full time. i lost all my winnings and savings to the market and living expenses.
had to get a new job, save, budget, and start from scratch.
today i make that leap again almost 4 years later.

1) do i have ideally 2 years of living expenses in a non trading acct as security?
this is more for your emotions than even being able to pay the bills. you cant wake up needing to make rent money it will affect your trading

2) how long have you been trading for? have you gone through different market cycles? one of the hardest things as a trader is when your strategy stops working in a particular environment. you need to be able to adapt or be able to sit through periods of this to trade full time
