1/ I am a TDSB supply teacher. Last night I was given my first LTO, a virtual grade 1 class. I immediately created a "Meet the Teacher" bio and emailed parents. They were THRILLED

2/ that their kid FINALLY had a teacher after weeks of waiting. I spent all today prepping. I even went out and bought a couple books for my new class! Keep in mind that we have received no training to use Brightspace, and its not super user friendly.

3/ at 4pm today I received an email with a new class list for kindergarten. Now I have two classes with three grades (JK, SK, 1). The email was a 'no reply' email, so now I don't know who to ask about this mix up. What class do I have now?. Now parents have to wait at least

4/ another day, and I will likely have to email the grade 1 parents to explain the situation. I am furious. This is extremely unfair to students and their families. They have to wake up every morning for school and check to see IF they have a teacher. They've been waiting

5/ for weeks. And now they get a teacher, only for that to change 24 hours later? We had 6 months to get this right, and now some students have been without a teacher for TWO weeks. Then they get a teacher, only for that to change 24 hrs later. How is this okay?
