Ballots are mailing out October 5th for all LA County voters! And we have just a couple weeks left to get everyone plugged into important local races.

One of our next issues is a "Guide to Voter Guides" so for now, I'm starting a thread here to share some resources early.
🗳️VOTING INFO🗳️

All registered voters are getting a mail-in ballot but you can still vote in person if you prefer.

You can start voting in-person in October. Follow @LACountyRRCC for info.

And check out their FAQ

Sign up to track your ballot on its little ballot journey:

And make your voting plan:

When polling centers open, you'll find that info here:
https://lavote.net/home/voting-elections/voting-options/early-voting

Right now, it says they open Oct 24 with most opening Oct 30.
Other great tools include:

Ballotpedia ( @ballotpedia)
https://ballotpedia.org/Voting_in_2020

Vote 411 (also run by League of Women Voters)
https://www.vote411.org/

The League also puts out great Pro/Con guides. Look out for those with @lwvlosangeles and other local Leagues
LAist does a SUPERB election guide. And they are running events to help you unpack your ballot.

Some of these include general information and others include lists of endorsements. We'll unpack this a bit more in the upcoming issue but wanted to share them as I find them.

A lot more folks are putting out guides this year so follow orgs you trust too!
