Amazon Prime Day may be three months late, but holiday discounts around retail are overwhelmingly early this year.

here's a thread to track the latest news on holiday sales events👇
1. We gotta start with Prime Day. Amazon announced the Instant Pot extravaganza will be held on October 13 and 14.

Target hit back by announcing its own "Deal Days" event on the same dates. It held a rival sale on Prime Day last year, too. https://www.cnbc.com/2020/09/28/amazon-prime-day-is-october-13-and-14.html
4. The industry-wide view: In our latest survey, 47% of respondents said their holiday discounts will start pre-Black Friday; nearly 20% said promos begin before Halloween.

As for the 15.6% of respondents who don't know when their company's sales are...we can't help you.
6. This just in: Walmart is hosting a "Big Save Event" from October 11 through October 15.
