Feels like there& #39;s been a lot of people who& #39;ve taken up sea swimming this year. As we head into the winter season, I thought I& #39;d share what I wear in the water, compared with what I wear when I get out after a swim.
tl, dr: layers are your friend. if you can get it, go for merino wool close to the skin, then just throw as much on top of that as you can manage.

remember, you will probably have reduced movement and sensation in your fingers, so avoid buttons and zips if at all possible.
this time of year is odd, because while the water temp is still easily above 14°, the air temp at 7am tomorrow morning will feel about 3°, which really makes the recovery feel rotten unless you& #39;re ready for it.
