currently obsessed with soft squishy baby youngjae falling for bad boy younger k

youngjae just has the WORST crush but immediately dismisses it as hopeless. he doesn’t even know younghyun all that well personally, even if got6 are friends with him. so he pines from a distance.

but someone (maybe jaebeom) figures it out and tries to push them together more often. and yj is a stuttering mess but yh thinks hes so so cute.

yh starts trying to act even more “cool bad boy” to impress him not realising it’s making yj more scared of him

oh no and because yj is shy it doesn’t go anywhere and eventually the crush kind of fizzles out as one of those in the past things that neither of them acknowledge but make them more awkward around each other than before.

yh feels kinda embarrassed for how hard he tried to be cool + feels like he can’t interact with yj anymore because yj will realise he was putting on an act before.

they get busier with their respective groups, time passes and and they kinda forget about it.

only then idol radio happens. and all of those old crush feelings come rushing back for yh because youngjae is still SO CUTE but he’s also more mature and thoughtful than he used to be and yh is immediately smitten.

meanwhile yj is going through this crisis like “is this the real yh i’m seeing?? or is it an act?? is he really still a cool bad boy but he things this cute silly guy is who his fans like better??”

and he starts berating himself for falling the “persona” yk puts on when on air

not realising that yh is being more truthfully himself.

so you have yh right back at pining and yj falling back into crush and hating himself for it + kind of resenting yh for putting on the “act” of being soft and cuddly in the first place.

so eventually yj is talking to bam (read: venting to bam) about his crush. and he’s like “he used to be this cool, sarcastic dude and now he’s cute and cuddly and IDK WHO KANG YH EVEN IS” and bams like “dude he’s kind of all those things”

and yj is like “ohhhhhhh” because he thought he liked two separate personas but he rly just liked both aspects of yh.

and then they hang out outside of idol radio for the first time, and yj finally sees cameras off yh and it’s a mess of all those traits because of course it is. he’s human.

and yj has has his epiphany which is that he just really, really likes yh. in every way.

and then.... idk how this ends. maybe their first time “hanging out” is supposed to be a date but yj doesn’t realise. maybe yh has been desperately trying to win his affection this whole time.

so he just.... buys a dishwasher. and yj finslly catches on.
