Meet the Rust-Belt: A New MSDNC Series.

Over the last several months, MSDNC has spoken to dozens of totally real Midwestern voters who shared their unfiltered and unprompted opinions on what issues are important to them this election.
Meet Craig: Having lived all 71 yrs of his life in Penn., He has seen economic shifts reshape the way we look at work--& the increasing importance of higher ed. Craig lost his mining job in 2017 & is excited to start his new career as an IT programmer by 75.
Meet Brock: A third generation Michigander, Brock recently lost his job and healthcare due to Corona and is facing eviction but believes the Mueller report should be re-opened.
Meet Brittany: Since her husband died in Afghanistan, Brittany has struggled to make ends meet and hasn't received a raise in 5 years. She was going to support Bernie in the Primary because of his economic message but was scared off by snake emoji’s.
Meet Alice: After working at a large corporation for the last 40 yrs, Alice was ready to retire but had to put that on hold due to the pandemic. She fears she'll be unable to afford her meds without a job but believes tweet decorum is the most important issue in the 2020 election
Meet Latasha: One of the 100 million Americans who didn’t vote in 2016, this Milwaukee native feels the 2020 election is different but is undecided due to Biden’s unwillingness to promise a Lena Dunham Supreme Court nomination.
