As a fan of consistency, these quotes by two of my dearest thinkers are thought provoking

“Consistency is contrary to nature, contrary to life. The only completely consistent people are the dead.” ― Aldous Huxley

“Consistency is the hallmark of the unimaginative.”
― Oscar Wilde
Mulled over this a bit more, and I think I'm actually a fan of *flexible* consistency.

• Plan for disruption
• Fail like a scientist
• Schedule over scope
• Mindful time-blocking

Obviously everyone is different, but I think I do a bit of both

Flexible consistency over the long-term:
1) Creates opportunities
2) Allows me to care enough for my mental health / have enough mental energy that I'm able to withstand (and even enjoy) short periods of intensity
