Coming through Carnoustie yesterday when a woman asked me to go and check on this chap as he'd been wondering around the park looking a bit lost, within 2 minutes of talking to him i realised he was anything but lost. His name is Ramsay 'MacNoor', and he was born in Iraq in 1935.

I spent half an hour chatting to Ramsay, his intellect, charm and worldly knowledge blew me away and if I'm honest lost me at times. He discussed his family, Iraq, religion, humanity, Scotland, physics, space/time, Astronomy, and then onto photography.

He asked if i was familiar with Andromeda, he then informed me that a photo of Andromeda had won a photo comp this year, he was extremely excited about this image, i googled it...

I could've listened to this incredible human being all day, the fact he said his wife says he talks too much makes me think he would be as happy telling me his story as i would be listening to it. A chance encounter, but an encounter that will stay with me for a very long time.
