Because of my white privilege, there’s a lot of garbage that’s happening in this country that doesn’t affect me directly, but is a matter of extreme importance to me as a human that isn’t a piece of shit.

That being said, there are things that do affect me directly that create a rage in me that isn’t due to witnessing others being hurt and mistreated. Women’s rights and issues pertaining to poverty, economic fairness, healthcare, etc.

I busted my ass to get through my undergrad because I didn’t have the money to pay for it and I didn’t have a family that could just pay for it. It took almost a decade because I had to keep stopping to save money for years and then go back.

I had to stop in the middle of typing this thread because I am overwhelmed with work, school, personal responsibilities. Because I am still trying to improve myself and my situation.
