2. They state they went through 20+ years of returns for Trump & over 500 companies. Elsewhere they say "15 years" & "since 2000". They did NOT get last 3 years.

This is a complex situation even for trained IRS auditors with full datasets. Print journos with political agendas?

3. Let's take a look at the journos named in the article. Any that have the corporate transaction background required to competently analyze decades of deals between hundreds of real estate companies, from tax returns that by their own admission lack important details?

10. A basic concept in real estate is Negative Gearing. This is a way to structure corporate entities so that cash surplus is used to pay down loans, rather than reported as profit & then taxed.

This is not mentioned once in NYT coverage. Every property guy I know does it.
