heyy so here’s my little idea abt how bnha could end since some ppl asked me to write it again in this acc and I have some free time<3

first things first we have to consider one thing: hori has shown multiple times how deku and shigaraki are parallels and the story is actually about both, it is THEIR story in plural, and are, basically, co-mcs. they both started as kids who wanted to be heroes and their

stories took different turns that lead them on opposite paths, making them foils. and, since their story began the same way, wouldn’t it make sense for it to end the same way as well?. listen: its clear that shigaraki is not getting a redemption of any kind. horikoshi has

already stated that he’s “too far gone “ in an interview. although he said this some time ago, it’s likely that his intentions for shigarakis character remain the same. so, since redemption is not an option, what other options are left for him once the story ends?

not many. he could go to jail, and rot in tartarus for life,but I feel like it would be unfair for his character to just. end up arrested. this leaves us with one choice: death. *cries* one way, or another, shigaraki is gonna die. Of course, that’s not happening

anytime soon, just at the very end. now, remember how deku n shigs are parallels and it would make sense for their stories to end the same way? yeah., I think theyll BOTH die. why? 1. It’s tragic 2. it’s ends afo-ofa ‘s cicle of violence,those powers die with them

3. itll make their stories come full circle. but, how will that happen? how will they die? deku and shigaraki have always been enemies, from the very start which means that’s likely that the final fight will be theirs. now imagine they are both hurt, exhausted after hours of

fighting to death, trapped somewhere where no one can reach them. they are alone. and, awaiting for death, they talk. they accept that it’s a matter of time they’ll die and...tell eachother their stories. rmbr that bnha is told by deku, its his story, he’s the narrator.

but then, how come he knows about the villains? their stories? their pov? I’m reading too much into this, but wouldn’t it be cool if it’s because bnha is actually being told not by deku alone, but by shigaraki too?

they are both dying, telling eachother the stories of how they became worlds greatest hero and worlds greatest villain, and it’s the combination of their stories that forms the series.

also! back to what deku says “this is the story of how I became the GREATEST hero” not number one, GREATEST. the way hori defines heroes and villains can be reduced to: heroes save and villains are the ones who were not saved. What would make deku the greatest hero, then?

saving the greatest villain. tenko, who wasn’t saved, and is a villain is finally saved by deku, deku who saves people, even a villain. this would make their characters, and bnhas narrative come full circle. by “saving” i don’t mean it in a literal way #lol . I mean forgiveness.

Horikoshi LOVES parallels. I have a feeling that, in the future, we’ll see a panel like this one, paralleling it, but with a different dialogue. it rlly feels like we r being set up for an eventual forgiveness by both sides. ofc, deku cant speak for everyone who shigs has kiIIed,

and also can’t apologize for the actions of hero society, since they are not his fault, but they do can forgive eachother personally. forgiveness is a recurring theme in bnha, seen in bkdks arc, endeavors, and many others, so it wouldn’t be surprising if deku and shigaraki,

ofa and afo, the eternal enemies, chose to just stop fighting , forgive eachother and die, ending the endless circle of violence. this could also give us a scene of them with nana and the vestiges (? .

so, long story short, the story is being told by both deku and shigaraki, before they forgive eachother and die . this is just an idea / how I would end it and not a theory cuz it’s literally impossible to tell what’s going to happen hehe I was just bored

++ i honestly do not know what would happen to the rest of the characters but I don’t think more major villains r gonna die... I think the reveal will be the breaking point for hero society and the remaining heroes will help reform the system and bring down the commission,

making class 1a the first generation of fair heroes (? idk what’s gonna happen to the villains tho cuz they gotta pay for their crimes

+ I think it would be super sad if after all, bkg ends up being n1 and one quirkless kid comes up to him asking if they can still be a hero without a quirk ( paralleling that am & deku scene) and he just smiles and says “yes” making his story come full circle too,

and paralleling his younger self, showing his development and the impact deku has had on him
